    I saw Rory at Birmingham Town Hall, 23rd Feb 1973, 3 days after my 15th birthday. My first big gig. It certainly inspired me to carry on being in a band Found this bootleg on YT of the gig (claiming to be anyhoo)

    I've been in the same band for 4 years and we get on pretty well, both musically and socially and we're all pretty competent musically. We often have (had!) band nights out and bring partners along which helps. The band that drinks together stays together?

    Mostly fingers but occasionally a pick. I have a wooden one which I've nicely 'worn in' but was a gift so no idea where it came from or I use a thick felt job....much to the mirth of my band mates who refer to it as a 'kiddy' pick (barstewards)

    I have Elite flats on my Lull (came with it). I'm impressed, they're much nicer to play than others I've tried which are Thomastik, Fender and some 'as fitted' on my Maruszczyk
