NOW SOLD Barefaced One 10, number 31 Purchased from TJ Spicer of this parish, this cab is an early one. It has suffered from the typical vinyl peel which I've repaired with a kit from Alex. There's a before pic for comparison. I have the glue pots and spreaders from Alex which will come with although hopefully you won't need them for a fair while I can ship by courier for the cost (around £20 I would think), you can collect from me in Nottingham or happy to do a meet up if it's not too far Comes with an as new Roqsolid cover - also purchased off BC No trades ideally but try me, you never know, particularly a nice Chowny! Here's the thread from my purchase Before repair pic

Can you name the bassist by the bass?

12 ☹️ Some educated guessing in that too I got Cliff Burton wrong..... I'll leave BC in my shame and never darken it's portals again -

When will you start gigging again?

Just completed this gig. Went pretty well except the bell mic fell off the sax and no-one noticed and one of the guitarists broke a string. We only did 4 numbers 🙂. Stage was nice! Pic of the singer/songwriter on before us -
eBay or not eBay now there’s a question..
ricksterphil replied to Swaffle88's topic in General Discussion
I've bought basses of eBay. Valuable ones I've collected if within 100 miles or so and paid cash after testing (hadn't occurred to me to check that the TR is working or not - useful advice). I had a problem with one bass off eBay where the truss rod was broken (bought delivered, not collected) and simply returned it and got my money back - simples. Buy from sellers with 100% feedback and where the listing has been done with some thought with decent photos. Ask plenty of questions and ask for extra photos - a genuine seller won't mind this. -
Me too. I buy business guru books and never read them - they make a nice pile by the bed to stand my morning cuppa on I've just ordered the Fingerboard Harmony Gary Willis book.....the pile gets higher

Great playing.....loved the 'Shadows' style moves -
Mate of mine has the new Dylan album and waxes lyrical about it. He's also a massive Tom Waits fan (my mate, not BD)

We sort of have a gig on the 11th July but it's not live as we are being recorded (20 mins set) for broadcast on July 25th for Notts Pride. Not quite the same as a live gig, but it's close. It will certainly be the grandest venue we've played in
