  1. Our PA is in my garage so I have to spend the afternoon checking stuff still works and that I've remembered everything, including my own gear. On the way to a gig I'll be worrying if I remembered to put the power amp (or my amp) in, and I have occasionally stopped mid journey just to check
  2. SimBass bought my Bergantino cabs. Fuss-free transaction and great communication. Thank you Phil
  3. Looks like Rory in his early forties when he was the worse for drink most of the time. He still nails the improv lead work tho. Saw him live back in 73ish at Birmingham Town Hall. Huge energy on stage and a fantastic player. I was gutted when he passed. Deuce is still one of my favourite albums.
  4. Trade for a fretted Yamaha 5 string - just a straight sale now, just purchased a Yammy 5iver Got this in a trade off Walshy of this parish and it's been my main gigging amp for 2 years, paired with the 1x12 Bergs also for sale (Bergs now sold) These amps are great and you can get a wide variety of tones from them, although if you're a metalhead, you'll probably be looking for something with more dirt I've had the bass tone pot replaced as it started malfunctioning - just a note that the pot doesn't 'notch' at the mid point And anyway, the best bit......the amp goes up to 11! (I've never had it up that loud btw) Selling as I've got a Glockenklang Blue Rock and a Barefaced Super 12 as my main rig now (all bought from BC) I can meet up within reason or courier at your cost.
  5. Up for sale are my Bergantino 1x12 cabs. They are the HT112 and the EX112. The HT112 has the variable tweeter. The cabs are rated at 350 watts at 8 ohms. I've run them with my EBSHD360 head and they sound epic (head also for sale in another listing) I want to sell these as a pair. They come with the correct Berg covers. there's what looks like a fag burn on the top of the HT112 (not done by me) I've had these for about 3 years and gigged them regularly and I often get complimented on my sound (but not my technique...lol) - they're light enough for a 1 hand carry Selling as I'm using a Glockenklang blue rock and a Barefaced Super 12 as my main rig now I can meet up within reason or courier (they'd be expensive to courier due to the weight) - happy to get a rate for you Here's some blurb Model HT112 specifications: 1-12" cast frame woofer w/ 80oz. magnet, vented pole piece high intelligibility bullet tweeter power handling - 350 watts rms custom phase - coherent crossover with tweeter level control frequency response: 48hz - 18khz sensitivity: 97db anechoic: 2.83v/1m impedance: 8 ohms dimensions: 15"H x 17-1/2"W x 13"D weight: 39lbs.
  6. We use the Nottingham one regularly. I have noticed recently that the equipment is starting to show its age, mics and leads particularly often need a spare getting from the store cupboard. Generally no complaints, its central, there's parking and it's better than any of the others I've used locally
  7. Lovely I have one of Mike's creations....utterly fabulous
  8. Is it a 2.75 inch but width? 1.75 inch maybe?
  9. I've had one of these in blue burst. Absolutely cracking bass, especially for this money. Blows any mid-range fender into the weeds imho
  10. I'd reply in bard speak but we both might get rumbled as a couple of beardy folk who wear waistcoats, drink mulled wine and wish they had been born 400 years ago......forsooth! (oh damn it)
  11. This is John Dyson and the Bloody Mary's. We played a gig at the New Barrack Tavern in Sheffield with them. John gets down to his pants and fishnets...and then proceeds to stick the business end of his mic down his pants! They were pretty good to be fair...fantastic energy
  12. I've played The Shed in Leicester. Neither of the ladies in our band got their bits out. Must be an East Midlands thing...here are the bare-ish SoapGirls at The Maze in Nottingham (which we've also played)
