I'm selling my Fishman full circle pickup in excellent condition with all included bits - both wheels, foam and a spare unused foam, lead (never used) and instructions for installation (perhaps best left to a luthier). It is the 6 x 1mm format (for 6mm thread wheels). The pickup is clean sounding, feedback resistant and cuts through well in a band setting. I'm using a different pickup now, hence my reason for selling. Price £100 including postage in the UK. Sorry no trades. I teach good bass technique, theory and musicianship in lessons that are tailored to the student. Jazz and classical technique (French bow) on double bass, 4/5 string bass guitar technique (picking using 2/3 fingers) and music theory is all catered for. Students have the option of taking ABRSM or Trinity exams on double bass, and Rockschool graded exams on bass guitar. You might have other goals such as auditioning for music college, sight reading or simply playing better and more comfortably. I am a professional player with a masters degree in jazz performance from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, also a published writer and transcriber for the American magazine Bass Player. I've performed a double bass concerto with orchestra and led my own band at Ronnie Scott's (see www.dominicbentham.com). I live in north London, close to East Finchley tube and the north circular road A406 and M1. I charge £30 per hour. Skype lessons are also available and a combination of Skype and in-person lessons is another option.

Hi, I don't know. It's a good all round metal string designed for 3/4 size basses. I tried the G for a few hours, the A and E for a couple of days just at home and the D hasn't been opened.[/font] [font=arial, sans-serif]I loved this brand on a bass I used to have, but they didn't do it for me on the bass I have now. They are versatile, good for pizz and arco and they have a nice growl to them. They are medium tension. NB PRICE NOW £125 COLLECTION OR CAN POST IN UK FOR £25 This is a great no-frills speaker, bought new in 2010. I've used it for double bass and on bass guitar for smaller gigs and rehearsals. It sounds loud, full and defined. I now use a Wizzy 10 which is lighter and more neutral sounding. It is very solidly built, in great condition and very easy to carry with one hand using the built in handle. This is the 4 ohm version rated at 300 watts with a single 1/4'' socket. I can throw in a speakon to 1/4" jack. NB Price now £175 I'm selling this US made Eden cabinet which I bought new in the late 90s from the Bass Gallery in Camden. It sounds absolutely superb - plenty of bottom but with great clarity. It was an industry standard for years. The cab has served me well on function band gigs but my work is now mainly small clubs in central London. It's rated at 350 watts and has never been pushed with that amount of power. The cab is in great shape, solid as anything with no tears in the carpet. For sale, this set of Zyex medium tension double bass strings. I've used the strings for two weeks, gigged them a couple of times but decided to go back to Evah Pirazzi mediums. There are plenty of posts online about these strings, describing them as a cross between Evahs and Spirocores. They have a comfortable tension but the bow response was too scratchy for me on my bass. I play jazz and occasionally classical. Everyone's experience will be slightly different of course. £55 including UK postage.
