1. Are u interested in Trades? I´ve read lot s about the Tonehammer, and it a Piece of Gear that interests me, but until now, I´m addicted to my Radial Engineering Tonebone Bassbone Preamp, wich is unbeaten until now...(for me of Course) But i would give a Trade a Try....
2. .... let me leave also a short Comment about GreeneKing, who is an absolut reliable, responsible and kind Partner to deal with. It was Fun and a Pleasure to me Peter. All the Best.

4. Further Pics of the Headstock or the entire Bass are no Problem. here they are... Hope you like it. Here on this Site you can listen to some Soundclips of the "Elwood" Click for Soundclips
5. Monday Morning "Bump"... I guess the only Reason why the Bass is still "For sale" is, that Maruszczyk Basses are not well known in Great Britain....
6. Bump...& Priceupdate..... 470,- GBP or 550,- Euro (incl. Luxury Gigbag & insured Shipping)
7. It´s really a very nice Bass with awesome Sound. Never thought, that i would sell it, but on Stage, I always take the 5-String now and to be left at Home ...I guess thats not right. Has to be played.... Ah, one Thing I have to say... Bought it New in Dec. 2006 and at this Time the Bass was buildt also, because it was buildt for me.
8. Of Course I can... Because the Body is made of real Northern Ash (no light Swamp Ash) the Weight is 4,75 Kg. Not very light für a 4-String, but the Tone you get is worth it. !!!

11. Man, lots of nice Rigs in here... This is mine. Not so big, but in my Band we´re always using In Ear Monitoring, but as my personal Monitor (if needed) or in the Case that I play a Job as a Sub in another Band this Rig does its Job and sounds good to my Ears...
12. Here is my new 7ender P-Bass. It´s a PB 57 US (Japan) - Alder Body - One Piece Maple Neck - Spiral Vintage Bridge - US Vintage Pickups Sounds and plays awesome and I got Flatwounds on it. Hope you like it.
13. Go for a Set of Strings with a taperwound B-String (maybe also B & E String). This will improve the Sound (Tightness & Definition) of your "Low-B"
14. My Main Axe is a Maruszczyk Elwood 4p got to take some good Pics from the Others...
15. Basstown 212 Custom Light 2x12" + adjustable Horn can handle 600W@4Ohm 32 - 18.000 Hz 100db @1W/1m Onken Port 48 lbs.
16. Just a little Tip...If you use Taperwound Strings for the Low B and maybe the E String...(Importand is the Low B ) it will do lots in Definition and Punch for your Low B...
17. I have the same one...with SD Quarterppounder Pickups and a Black PG ...really great Bass. You should easy get 350 GBP....

20.
Asama is Japanese for "Big Bottom". Area - if you consider selling, let me know. BTW I take it the pics aren't actually your bass, since they're from the www.guitarmaniacs.de site? I'll go & do a bit of digging, see what I can find out... Jon.
Yes, this is exactly my Bass, because on "Guitarmaniacs" I´m registered as "Rumms".
21. ..... This Bass was given to me Yesterday as a Present. Must be about 30-35 Years old. All Functions are working. Just needed a little Set-Up, Cleaning, some Contact-Spray and a fresh Battery for the Onboard Effects --> Distortion and Phaser... Has been standing in a Living Room for the last 20 Years and was only getting older. HaHaHa...what a crazy Bass, but with these Black Nylons on it you can reproduce some really nice 70s Motown Sounds.... Great... Ah yes...It´s "Made in Japan"
22. I have the t.c. electronic Vintage Compressor and I have to say that this is an absolute amazing Piece of Gear also for Bass. If you like a decent and not "pumping" Compression, this little Thing is absolute fantastic and delivers useable Sounds in every and also extreme Settings. In my Case it´s something like "Set and forget" Compression. Further it´s intresting that this Thing is absolute equal to the T-Rex Comp Nova. We did a Compressor Comparsion on Bassic.ch another European Bassboard and the t.c. electronic won this Comparsion. As far as I know, this Pedal is discontinued, so if you can grab one...DO IT!
23. If I had to choose between MIM or MIJ, i think I would go for MIJ. All Japanese Fenders I´ve seen or played until now, had a very good Quality. If you also consider a used MIJ Fender look for a Shop called "Tokyowaxhead" on eBay. The Seller is very reliable and fast. He offers also used MIJ Fender Basses. Not as much as some Shops like Ishibashi, but there are 2-5 Basses any Time. If you´re looking for something special, you have to call/mail him or wait and look in from Time to Time.
24. Just let me say, dealing with Icepick was real Fun and a Pleasure to me. He is very kind, responsible, reliable and everything was absolutely fine. I bought his Yamaha TRB 1005. A real nice Bass and once again, it was realy Fun and a Pleasure to get in Contact with Mr. Lord Icepick (Hey that´s an Insider) HaHaHa Cheerio Vern. Nice to know you.
