1. Thanks for your Help Mates. I've searched a bit and I have no Doubt that these TKS Cabinets are really good. Nontheless I've decided, to pull my Trigger on a german Cabinet Builder. Hans Struck from FMC Audio http://fmc-audio.jimdo.com/ These Cabs get much Love in Germany at the Moment and they have tested them with Glockenklang, Bergantino, Vanderkley Cabinets Side by Side. But Hans told me I can send it back if it don't fit my Needs/my Taste I have ordered a FMC 1126 Neo 1x12" Neo Speaker and an adjustable 6" Speaker, as I don't like those Harsh Tweeter Highs. 300W/8Ohm, 99db @1W/1m, 14Kg. I am exited and if it fits, I get a second One in April.
2. I've read alot about those Cabs in here. The Point is, I am planing to get two 1x12" Cabs instead of my two 2x12" Cabs. I'd like to do a little bit of "downsizing". Those Cabs are nearly completely unknown in Germany. I'd be exited about two S112 and I've read a good Review here, but they are so tiny... Can they really handle a 5-String? Thx for your Opinion Tom
3. I guess the Deal is solid now.
4. Try to get a used Yamaha BB415 or 615. Great Basses with good Build Quality.
5. The Elwood was handselected from Adrians Showroom, as I live only 35km away..... I would bet, Andrew will have Fun with it.

11. Hi there, I don't wanna hijack the Thread, but it becomes a "Maruszczyk-Thread" more and more...All I can say is, Adrian who lives about 35km fom my Home is a Top Guy. And it's real Fun to visit and deal with him in his Home/Showroom. A great Musician. Every Year in June he does a big Barbecue, with lots of Live Music and so on in his Home. Big Fun. For next Year I am planning to get myself a 5-String Custom PJ for my 50 Birthday. Oh...did I mention that my Elwood 5a sounds and plays like a Dream? I think the Price/Value Thing on these Basses is outstanding.
12. My Maruszczyk Elwood 5a has a matte Finish...
13. Great Basses. I owned 4 Maruszczyk Basses. My first One in 2006. Adrian is an absolute great Guy and it is a Pleasure to deal with him. The best way would be to come to Germany and visit him in his Studio/Showroom in Aldenhoven/Germany (between Cologne and Aachen) There are lots of Basses to test and you are able to configure your Dream Bass for a very affordable Price. The Buildt-Quality is superior/ Top Notch and I guess if there would be the "F-Word" on the Headstock you would have to pay Way more. So go and get one. Here is my latest Addition. An Elwood 5a (Ash/Maple, with Glockenklang Preamp and Delano PU's, 4,3Kg)
14. Jazz please...
15. I know Adrian Maruszczyk since 2006. He is a great Guy and the Basses are awesome. Yesterday I visited him in his House/Showroom, wich is about 40km from here. I was not alone, as I left him... As you can see: - Elwood 5a - Ash Body - Maple Neck and Fretboard - ABM Hardware - Delano JC5AL Pickups - Glockenklang 2-Bd. Preamp/EQ - 19mm Stringspacing - 4,3Kg

Awesome Bass.
17. I can tell, this is a phenomenal Bass and Cai is a real Gent. A Pleasure to deal with. Hurry up for this great Bass. @Cai. Bad to hear. No Insurance for the stolen Gear? Good Luck with the Sale, Buddy.
18. This One. My Lakland 55-02 Deluxe. Fits my Needs an my Taste the most. A wonderful Bass.
19.
TRB style knobs?
Yeah, looking good. Could be an Option.
20. Here is my BB615. I just mounted the Pickguard wich I have bought for it and I like it better then without. What do you think? Further this BB will get a Bartolini Preamp wich I am awaiting and along with that I'd like to mount some new and better readable Knobs like the Lakland Basses have.
21. Nice Bass indeed. After i put on a fresh Set of D'Addario XL170-5 the Bass shows what he can. But I can hardly get that Beauty integrated into my Setup wich has only active Basses. So I plan to sell that nice Bass.
22. I miss my Carvin LB75. What a great Bass. If I got the Chance to buy it back, i'd do it.
23. Thanks Man. I guess, Squier makes some good affordable Instruments these Days. When I start playing in 1981 I was 15 Years old. I wish there were some 300,- Instruments like this...
24. Bought this used as a Backup Bass, 6 Months old. Arrived today. So far I am very pleased. Bass has a very good Setup, no Deadspots and sounds like a Jazz Bass should. The B-String fits into the Mix of the other Strings. Strings are quiet dead, but I've ordered a Twin Pack of the D'Addario XL170-5. I don't mind about the Graphics. It is there ..ok. But I like a White Jazz with a Maple Fretboard and Matching headstock Craftmanship ist good. Fretwork is also done well. I like the high Gloss Neck and Fretboard
