thanks guyl but the person with the upright has had a stagg electrc upright bass i think i understand that my playing style would change as its upright but i was wondering what else would change

hi i have been playing bass for about 3-4 years now (fretted) and i have recently joined a jazz band not far from my home. i have been enjoying playing my bass there but i was recently also introduced to an upright bassist and i though it sounded awsome so i was wonderin if you could tell me wether it plays the same as my normal bass or like a fretless and if you could recommend a first EUB for me and also one that ill be able to keep for a good amount of time. thanks a lot joel

o fanx a lot i thought that i would have to remove the trussrod out of the body but in that case it seems easy. i was wondering what it needs to be finished with so that it doesnt mark as soon as i put it on

hi recently i have been wanting to buy a maple neck for my bass (fender MIM p bass) and i was wondering if the trussrod goes through the neck into the body or if all i have to do to get it off is to remove the screws and then the neck plate at the back of the bass?

hi there guys just recently joined the forum and i have been looking at the posts on the badass bass bridges as i wanted to replace the light crappy one you get on it thet slips to the side and makes my strings feel very slac and i was just wondering which one should get and what effects it will have on my strings and my sound. i have a mexicam fender p bass thanx a lot please post seddy20
