Looks right - It's cheap - go and see it. If it were me I wouldn't take a bag of cash with me to a Gumtree sale. My advice would be; I'd tell them I'd come and see it first, then go and get the money if you like it.

34" is long scale and these are long scale strings. They were cut for a two on each side machine heads bass. They should be fine but check if you can the measurements I put in the description. If your bridge to machine head length is less than my measurement you'll be fine. Does that make sense? Cheers...

I have a set of these La Bella White Tape Wound bass strings for sale - more clear than white really. They are £40 a set in the shops! I put them on my acoustic bass - but they don't do it for me - I went back to normal flats. These work on all basses I am told. I only tried them out on my bass so they are basically unused, however they have been cut down to the following lengths: E 105 cm A 109 cm D 106 cm G 103 cm Thats from the top of the ball (string start) to the end of the string. My acoustic is two tuners a side, so do check against your own bass. I no longer have the original packaging I'm afraid, but they are standard gauge which is 60-115 Would trade for La bella flats, maybe otter brands 45-105 Thanks... I bought this cello in March this year with the intention of learning to play it. Quite frankly I have never got around to it so this is as it came to me. Probably an hours practice in total. This cello model is well documented elsewhere on the web so for those interested here's what's included. Yamaha cello as pictured, bow, headphones for practice, power supply (although I use two AA batteries instead). The outfit is completed with a sturdy Yamaha cello gig bag - no photo yet as it's in the loft but pic to follow. It is the correct bag for this cello. It is in new condition, and cost over £1800 new from Yamaha's shop on Wardour Street in London. I thought with Christmas on the way I would advertise it now. Collection in London or courier possible at cost.
