Still curious about whether the headphones in that photo are plugged into the board or if it's just the camera angle playing tricks on me...
My headphones are plugged right into the pedal board. TC Mini Delay I'd last in the chain. Blue

I will try to apply all these suggestions. I'm not sure about all the pre-amp stuff. In using a GK 1001rb head. Blue
(grin) I joined a band at the same time as the drummer retired. He had been responsible for doing most of the booking. Turned out he had been pocketing " a commission" from any cash gigs - usually an extra £50 in his pocket that we didn't know about. ....and then the cheeky bugger asked if he could rejoin the band about 6 months later!
This can also happen with dishonest agencies. Quoting one amount , collecting another and taking their % plus a little extra. Blue

Ask about it, if it was a mistake give it back. Blue
It's tricky to get a good live sound without the rest of the band isn't it? I've been through lots of good drive pedals, which obviously work fine for many, but think I'm now happy with the simplest /cheapest one! EHX Bass Soul Food seems to work great for me and in a live setting. Maybe try EQing a bit differently, I've previously found a little boost around 800hz brings out the drive ( on my rig anyway.)
Yes, it is tricky, especially if your on your own. When I say that I mean, ideally the guitarist and bass player should be working together on blending their sounds together. Most of us don't have 2-3 techs managing our rigs. Blue
I've got the same issue with both electric and bass guitar. I think the sound from amp is affected by accoustics of the room, whilst headphones are direct into ear.
It's crazy, I get this great dirty distorted sustain though the headphones and nothing on stage. Blue

Does pro mean your this great above average musician? I've played with a few that claim pro status. I found them to be marginal Musicians. Blue

Why is it when I'm sitting in my living room with my boards output coming into my headphones everything sounds great, but when I play through my amp I can't hear the effect especially overdrive and distortion (MRX M-80)? This is very frustrating. Taking the time to dial in everything at home through headphones and when I get to a gig all I have is crap. Blue

Is Kenwood Dennard on drums in the current line up? Blue
Well, he's nearly 70 now, ( born Dec 47 ) so he was nearly 69 at this gig There's no one like him
They're playing a small club Friday night in Milwaukee.I think it hold 150 people and that might be high. $30.00 I should go. Blue

My TC Electronics pedals have a mono output and a stereo output to my amp. What's the difference and what is the recommended output, mono or stereo? Blue
Apparently so. I don't find it particularly attractive myself - even when a young lady is doing it, rather than the chunky middle aged woman we were subjected to
In the States we have a Federal Law. No twerking if your over 40. We enforce this law with a hefty fine, community service and in some extreme twerking judgements, jail time. Blue

Recording shows and rehearsals never hurts. It can serve a lot of purposes. Suppose your recruiting a new member and he/she has to learn your show. Not many bands can provide a new member a recording of a full current show. Blue
Good gig last night except for the twerkaholic dancer. Yep, she twerked along to a good slice of 70s rock
Twerking, we had some young ladies twerking at a recent gig. I'm 64, I remember commenting to our drummer; "This is something I'm suppose to like, right?" Blue
Weired, DJ was playing out on the terrace when we got there and never stopped playing when we struck up inside. Unfortunately it was a lovely evening and most people stayed outside. He also didn't want to pay us and said we had agreed to play for free until I showed him the email he sent agreeing £300. Not sure we will go back.
Wonderful that you had that email. Blue
Played in Melksham, Wiltshire, last night. Good venue, very enthusiastic audience and decent management, an ideal gig but an hour and a half from home for me, which combined with a one AM finish made for a late night. Still, I was in my bed by 4 AM. It obviously went as well as I remember, as today we have been re-booked.
Nice to hear I'm not the only guy getting home from a gig at 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning. Blue
This what we take to gigs. On a train..? I don't think so, and anyway, there are none here. Fine for a privileged few with reduced needs, and good luck to 'em, but they're the rare exception, Id say.
Yes, we also haul full pa and lights to 95% of our gigs. Blue
When did we (in the UK) become American and start saying "dating"? I'm not even sure what that is... I've been married too long
Dating is also referred to as courting and sparking or squireing. Blue
This differs from the traditional British approach of getting smashed off your tits at a party, coping off with someone you fancy, snogging their face off and usually more, then spending the next few months finding out if you actually like each other... ... cultural differences and all that.
I think that probably happens for the young folks over here in the States as well. I did see 2 local women, my age who appeared to be single when I was sitting outside at my local Star Bucks. One was riding a "Rascal" with an oxygen tank and the other was smoking a cigarette, wearing a knee brace and basically crawling to her car. Blue
Just don't ask about HS2. It would be a bit like putting the cat amongst the pigeons. What time do your sets usually end Blue? I'd say most public transport has shut down for the night by then anyway. When that happens here, you'd need either a taxi or a safe stash for the gear while you hoof it home. Pubs and clubs in residential areas of British towns and cities are often finished by 11:15 leaving it possible, if pushed, to use a bus. You are stuffed for a connection with another bus route at that time of night so it needs to go all the way past home. You need a car. I'm stuffed on that one.
Our bar gigs are 4 hour nights. From 8:00- 12:00 to 9:30 to 1:30. Tear down is an additional hour which is figured into our fee. Blue
As for dating, most likely just to meet at the pub/cinema/restaurant, that means we can both get public transport there. Or I have been in the situation where the female is the car owner and has come to pick me up – I didn’t judge them by the car they were driving though.
Now that's different.😁 Blue
