1. Lovely looking bass. Eversons are cracking basses.
2. I might be an odd one but i think a Bass Collection SCG Nanyo style headstock would look good on the bass.
3. Stunning work. Liking the whole back carve and pickup area progress.
4.
I'm surprised you were alloyed to pick it up...
They just said any damage and they would billet to me.
5. They had one in the gallery second pic in green weight well it wasn't light by which I mean I picked it up and put it straight back down again.
6. Had a quick dabble on this little beauty at the MBB today. Cracking bass
7. Saw this in the flesh/wood today some stunning work it's gonna be a special instrument.
8. Great day! Thanks for the hard work Si! Lovely people and great basses in attendance glad I could finally make it to a bash.
9. Hi I will make it along. Can bring my status necked Jazz a few pedals and Mesa Subway+ and 1x12. If that's cool
10. Oooofff very very tempting
11. Just a thought and might not be a good idea but have you seen the round individual coil pickups that were used by Gordon Smith(think it was the gypsy bass) so you could adjust each strings response. Maybe someone could replicate a version of this to give you adjustment with the coils closer to the string?
12. Very nice 👍 I am having a bit of a Gas month for a Stingray.
13. Head on hold pending the formalities.
14. Price drop bump! Actually have a completion date so will take offers close to £1000 before the 18th March will also split if that helps. Also will deliver myself within a reasonable distance if required. Cheers
15.
These were my cabs I had custom made to run my svt. I can't recommend them enough! Real meaty sounding cabs and built to last. Joe is a top guy as well so buy with confidence.
Cheers was a great deal wish I could justify keeping it all they are great Cabs!
16. Slight price drop bump as move getting close.
17. location added Leicesetershire
18. Head sold Cabs now also gone.
19.
All the gear recommended will seem huge when the new Trace Elliot Elf becomes available later this year. 200w in a box the size of a kitchen size matchbox (remember them?). I can't wait.
I would love an old trace Twin valve combo or head but chances one will come available are slim I think.
20. Hi the PF50 sounds like a good option also spotted this the other day and wondered if anyone has any experience with one? http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ashdown-DH-30-C115-Drophead-Valve-Fliptop-Bass-Amplifier-Combo-30-watt-/292036601335?hash=item43febce5f7%3Ag%3A3%7EwAAOSwo4pYW6Oh&_trkparms=pageci%253A1a9885f2-fcf1-11e6-a596-74dbd1801ace%257Cparentrq%253A7fc532e215a0a2a4f865562fffea2863%257Ciid%253A6 Also although a class D or solidstate would cover recording I would still like to stick with Valve it's just my personal preference
21. So I am currently the proud owner of a monster amp and speaker setup that could be called over kill for anything but stadiums. The head is a 300w all valve beast a Traynor YBA300 and I run it through two Zilla 2x10 rear ported cabs. It's a clean amp with headroom to spare but now I am looking at doing more recording and playing at home rather than gigging I'm thinking of downsizing to a small valve head and speaker or combo. Think B15ish but without the price tag. Has anyone got any suggestions as I feel my current rig will just be to large and loud.
22. Little Dragon are a really really good band and do some loverly things live. I think the sonicstate live stuff with Gaz Williams has some good and bad points he is a bit chaotic but his linking ideas with lots of cheap(ish) tech to a midi bass shows potential and although you might not like his style or performance I find him and his reviews generally great.
23. This shows mr Gas Williams from about 44mins in using his midi bass https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=II5J46xAjhk
24. Ohhh that's a looker! Do I need another jazz!
