Just a thought and might not be a good idea but have you seen the round individual coil pickups that were used by Gordon Smith(think it was the gypsy bass) so you could adjust each strings response. Maybe someone could replicate a version of this to give you adjustment with the coils closer to the string?
Price drop bump! Actually have a completion date so will take offers close to £1000 before the 18th March will also split if that helps.
Also will deliver myself within a reasonable distance if required.
Cheers

These were my cabs I had custom made to run my svt. I can't recommend them enough! Real meaty sounding cabs and built to last.
Joe is a top guy as well so buy with confidence.

Cheers was a great deal wish I could justify keeping it all they are great Cabs!

All the gear recommended will seem huge when the new Trace Elliot Elf becomes available later this year. 200w in a box the size of a kitchen size matchbox (remember them?). I can't wait.

I would love an old trace Twin valve combo or head but chances one will come available are slim I think.
Hi the PF50 sounds like a good option also spotted this the other day and wondered if anyone has any experience with one?

Also although a class D or solidstate would cover recording I would still like to stick with Valve it's just my personal preference
So I am currently the proud owner of a monster amp and speaker setup that could be called over kill for anything but stadiums.
The head is a 300w all valve beast a Traynor YBA300 and I run it through two Zilla 2x10 rear ported cabs. It's a clean amp with headroom to spare but now I am looking at doing more recording and playing at home rather than gigging I'm thinking of downsizing to a small valve head and speaker or combo.
Think B15ish but without the price tag.
Has anyone got any suggestions as I feel my current rig will just be to large and loud.
Little Dragon are a really really good band and do some loverly things live.
I think the sonicstate live stuff with Gaz Williams has some good and bad points he is a bit chaotic but his linking ideas with lots of cheap(ish) tech to a midi bass shows potential and although you might not like his style or performance I find him and his reviews generally great.

I think I'm going to have it, though I might look to get it re-fretted...
[/quote]
Don't do that sell me the fretless neck and buy another status fretted. 👍
I asked the question sent an email and they are made in small batches in Korea. Will only be 4 made all in the same finish but I didn't ask if that is a first run and will follow with more or not.
They did say handmade not in a factory but small workshop.
I haven't taken it any further though.

And here we have 3 reasons to avoid Basschat (see above).

Got to love it! Spread the love or sickness depending on your view. 👍

I think the 0% finance only applies if you're 25 or under.
If you are 25 or under then I'm extremely envious on both counts... 😊

Unfortunately I'm not and what sort of a stupid system is that anyway!
