1. Looks really really nice I have a real itch for a fretless jazz and this is really making me want to get one! I love bright yellow really suits the bass with the ebony board.

8. Hi All. SOLD This is an ad i was hoping not to write especially so soon, I am having to put my latest Bass on the the market due to some vehicle repairs and other bills coming in with a cost far higher than expected. I purchased this Bass just before christmas having never owned a singlecut and looking for a lowB after sticking with 4strings for a while its one of the finest instruments i have ever played (having owned Sei,Dingwall,Lull amongst others). The 33" scale is a revelation with a Bstring that sings and joyful playability all around the neck. Here are some of the more detailed specs of the guitar as can be seen on Jons site. 5 string fretted singelcut 33" scale 45mm nut width 17mm string spacing at bridge 20.5mm neck depth at first fret 22.5mm at 12th gentle C section profile 5 piece laminated neck - flame maple / wenge black walnut headstock scarf buckeye headstock facings front and rear black ebony f/board 28 frets small stainless steel fret wire two way truss rod carbon fibre reinforcement Abalone face dots, normal position, 6mm. 3 dots on 12th and 24th 6mm centre, 4mm outers 2mm mother of pearl side dots brass nut gotoh GB707 tuners - dtuner Buckeye curve top black walnut body adjustable ramp - solid black ebony and buckeye faced buckeye faced pickups polyester basecoat gloss topcoat Seymour Duncan ASB2 pickups shuker 3 band eq, internal mid control Schaller 2000 bridhttp://basschat.co.uk/topic/272779-fs-2014-shuker-singlecut-5-buckeye-burl/ge black hardware dunlop flush straplocks The bass is still mint having only been played at home an a couple of gigs in the short time i have had it. If you have any questions feel free to ask I'm looking for 2000pounds due to the circumstances I'm not looking for straight trades. Will take some better photos when I can. And here is a link to a pervious add of the same bass http://basschat.co.u...5-buckeye-burl/
9. Stunning work
10. Sorry closer inspection it's a 6er
11. Isn't one trying to hide in the back of this photo they posted last week?
12. The gallery has a fair few secondhand Sei's in I think at this moment according to the last Facebook post they put up.
13. Have got to playing this a bit more over the last few days and it's getting better and better as I get more acustom to it. The bass has a really nice Low action and the main thing I have had to get used to is the ramp as its my first time with one.
14. Got to love a bit of buckeye. Looks really great.
15. Very nice indeed the bass in the other listing is now mine(picked it up at the weekend). These are stunning basses build quality and tone that is up with the best. Good luck with the sale.
16. Pics are up on a NBD as it did come home with me and will have a look for the Facebook myself now I'm a proud owner.
17. Thanks for the nice comments. I'm really pleased
18. 😜 you never know CokeyW I think this will be sticking around for a long time though it's amazing!
19. So after a short trip south of my home county of Staffordshire yesterday I have come back with a stunning Bass. I set off with the intention of only doing the the deal if the bass was right as as my hard earned and othe basses would all have to go to afford the bass. So what is it? Well if you spotted my recent post you may well have guess it's made by a Mr Jon Shuker. To be more precise it's a 33" scale 5string buckeye burl single cut. It had a 28fret ebony board, 3band eq with a Mid sweep and more growl on the rear pickup than I thought possible. I will take some better photos when I get chance as the level of finish is incredible it's up there if not better than some high end basses I have owned before. I am over the moon with the bass having given it a good play last night at its first gig all the band commented on how good it sounded which is a first and if I had not been stuck at work today it would not have been put down.
20. Thanks guys. I'm going to get my hands on one this weekend (it may yet come home with me if I get on with it).
21. I have seen a few on Basschat but don't really know much about them. I miss my 5string basses having sold a Sei and a Dingwall a few years back I have been looking around and keep looking at Jons basses? What are they like?
22. Top build! Looking great single cuts are really starting to grow on me I alway used to think they looked for want of a better phrase top heavy but this looks just right to me.
23. Alien Ant farm bass player Tye Zamora think he has had a few versions of the bass over a few years this one is slightly different I think https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iTQQKGQ_PrU
