The pick of the bottom of the neck/date stamp doesn't even look like the same neck more rosewood fretboard or something that looks like bark or leather.

Could be a nice resto if it was about 2500 cheaper

Just completed a trade with Carlos and it could not of been any easier. It is the first time I have posted abroad and it went smoothly mostly due to Carlos and his guidance,he is a very helpful and honest person to deal with. Could not be happier and as I said if I'm ever in Barcalona I ow him a beer!

So I missed a package this morning and my inner child told me to make the 45minute trip after work to collect it before the UPS depot closed. It was worth giving in to that voice. A few years ago I had a Sei flamboyant 5string fretless that I really regret letting go it had a punchy tone that I have struggled to get. Now I could of found another Sei but I have choosen a different path and after the initial noodle I think it's looking like a good choice. The newcomer is a bass that as far as I can gather is well known on here an Everson 4string fretless. So far I'm really pleased it's really easy to play and has great punchy tone. Can't wait to explore it some more!

The grain already looks great once you get your carve on its going to be stunning.

I'm going to try and keep it under wraps a bit longer but they will have custom coil taps

Big and exciting news i have chosen the pickups for the build and ordered them! They are special indeed.

More parts ordered. Fender USA neck plate, some mint green 3ply for the pick guard and a tasty Bad Ass. All thats left is to decide on pickup options out of the many ideas i have had….. HMMMMMMM.

So my body finally came today so I'm happy😃😃😃😃😃😃! It's a black fender Mike Dirnt Pbass I think from around 2003ish. It's slab backed an has that Tele style I was looking for now it does have a few knocks, paint chips and the arm cut on the top looks like someone has gone at it with some sandpaper to either relic poorly or rub out some damage? So it looks a bit flat. The neck seems to be a great fit apart from the very end of the pocket where the neck is curved and the pocket is squared off but until I get a fixing plate its hard to say if it's a tight enough fit but the screw holes seem to line up which will be a bonus. Will load some photos shortly
