    Still a great looking top though. Been doing a bit of Ebaying myself not made a purchase yet but have seen a nice looking tele style body if it is still available on payday it will be the next purchase and then will get some pictures up on here to start the build proper.

    Thanks for the input i don't think the P/lyte look is for me but a classic tele may do it. i also was thinking Jag bass or even going mad with a starcaster body. Darkstars are being made again by Curtis Novak not cheap but are available 275 usd each so about 180pounds. Cheers Joe

    [b]I have had a voice nagging away in the back of my head for a while telling me to make a bass and i just managed to secure an old Fender Bullet Deluxe neck.[/b] [b]Im after thoughts on where to take it the neck is 34" scale with a headstock like an old 50s Pbass or Tele bass.[/b] [b]I have had a few ideas along the lines of a Super Fender with either a P/J set up or maybe Darkstar pickups but the real sticking point is the body style i can't decide on what i want apart from a Roadword/relic style.[/b] [b]Any help would be great. [/b]

    Hi Rich i think it does go down to 2Ohms as the speaker outs are two 8Ohms and two 4Ohms on the back.

    Hi thanks for the comment it is the bass from Bass Direct and i agree about the balance and colour LPB is unreal.

    Im in East Staffordshire.The fan is just noisy I'm sure if you got the amp out the flight case an got to the mounting screws and fettled it you could get it better. You don't need the fan for normal use just recommends the fan when using the amp in racking with other units or for hard/prolonged use.

    double checked the weight and it came out as 4.2kg on my scales so looks like the figure is about right around 9.2lbs doesn't feel heavy when playing at all though.

    Hi i will double check thats just the weight from the spec sheet, it feels pretty light to me.

    Hi i don't know the weight it is heavy though and it is in the Gator case yes. Valves are 6x Mesa STR440 and 4 tone valves 12x7 type seen around 8 to 10 hours playing time. Work wise as i said in the listing its a fully working amp but if you were picky you could tidy the chassis,one handle on the front is loose but because the head is flight cased it never bothered me.The only issue i have had in use is the fan noise. Hope that helps it is a Mega head and i know I'm going to regret selling it
