I've purchased a 6 strings with chechen fretboard whose bridge only allowed 16mm. That's why I let it go at the time. 17mm is still ok for me but 16mm is a no-no.

The action is set very low and obviously, the neck never moves. I've played it everywhere, and it's always instant perfection out of the case. Minor wear that doesn't affect playability whatsoever.
