  1. Just rediscovered this blast from the past. Sit back, pop your class A of choice and get lost in its hypnotic groove.
  2. I think you're right in that it's not possible! The easiest way around it would be to use an external footswitch for the tuner. Even if you only need a total of 4 footswitches you could always use a single external switch with a standard mono cable, you'd just need to figure out if it would default to footswitch 4 or 5 in the global settings but that should only take a minute. It ought to work as in the past I've not pushed my TRS cable in fully and only had my twin footswitch working on one channel. Lots of swearing and reboots later I managed to figure it out
  3. Have you tried a hard reset? Line 6 recommend doing it after every firmware update as counterintuitive as it sounds! Don't quote me on this as it's been a while since I have done it but it's something simple like holding down foot switch 3 (possibly 2 and 3 similtaneously) while you boot up the Stomp. I had a behavioral issue with mine a while ago and this sorted it, it seems to clear out any clutter from the cache when updating the firmware.
  4. You can upload sound files, other users have done it, but it's not something that I've done myself so although I'm not certain I'd guess you just upload it as you would a picture using the Choose files option. That's on the desktop version of the site, I'm not sure if it works the same on the mobile version.
  5. That doesn't sound quite right to me. Although I've not had one of these Ampeg units I have had a few different pre-amps over the years and none have been excessively noisy, IMO. Obviously if you start adding high gain drive and lots of high end then things get inherently noisier but at clean and low gain settings you shouldn't really be having the problems you describe. And all the pre's that I've used have had plenty of volume boost available too, even with clean sounds, so if you're having to crank it to reach unity then it sounds like something's not right. If you bought it new there should be at least a 12 month manufacturers warranty so drop the retailer a line about getting it replaced. If you bought used there's not a lot you can do about it, unfortunately.
  6. Too young to fall in love - Motley Crue
  7. Therapy? Now there's a band who have penned some catchy, cracking tunes over the last 30 odd years...
  8. No mention of New Model Army yet, some fantastic bass playing on the first 2 albums, Vengeance and No rest for the wicked. Check out the title track of the second album;
  9. Young, gifted and skint - New Model Army
  10. I can't believe these guys haven't been mentioned yet...
  11. Working from home the past god know how long has led me to discover and rediscover some cracking music. A band that I used to listed to a lot in the 90's but then I lost touch with was Fugazi, an American post hardcore band that mixed in a dub like vibe at times. This is one of my favourite tunes, I think it was originally released in around 1990 but still sounds great today, helped by the fact the band were doing their own thing so haven't dated like a lot of music does.
  12. The nightmare continues - Discharge
  13. House of the rising sun - The Animals
