  1. @auburnwarrior bought a Barefaced Four10 from me, driving over from Norwich to Milton Keynes. Comms was good, and he was patient and understanding while I sorted a minor hiccough. Deal with confidence, he's a good 'un!
  2. Thanks Jack, good work!
  3. Any idea what frequencies the eq bands are set at?
  4. Never mind the cabs - those heads are an absolute steal for an all valve head. A guitarist I worked with a couple of years ago bought a very similar looking head as an oddity and gigged it regularly - I remember it sounded pretty tasty!
  5. Yes it's still here. It's even more for sale now I've gone for in ears!
  6. Have you got a link for Lugs custom moulds please? They're not coming up on a Google search.
  7. I've got the opposite problem. I've got an 89 Thumb with factory fitted schallers that screw into metal inserts with Allen Bolts, and I use Dunlop straplocks. No way I'm modding the thumb so I've got a separate strap just for that bass with schallers on!
  8. Drag and drop would be good. By 'simpler' I meant something that would help those of us who aren't that competent in synth programming to tailor patches. Parameters (off the top of my head) such as wobble, thickness, wah etc would be good. I understand the basics - adsr's, vco's, vca's etc but I tend to get a bit bogged down with so many parameters. I'm absolutely not knocking what we've got, it's an amazing bit of kit, but for me a simpler way of programming to complement what we have would be fab!
  9. I'm interested to hear there's a new editor on the horizon - any info on this? Something a bit simpler to use/understand would be a real bonus!
  10. Nice!
  11. The end of global warming.
  12. I used to have one of these. If anyone wants to know what they sound like, they're pretty solid, plenty of volume and decent tone as well so a bit of a bargain!
  13. Yeah I appreciate that. Second time though I definitely said 'unlicensed' and one fella jumped in without even looking at the box to say it was ok. Then the other guy checked and implied that would be ok to use without a license, even though it needed one, cos no one ever checks. That was all wrong. I can't remember my exact wording on my phone call, but a thorough and competent reply would have been "it's legal for UK use but you'll need a license".
  14. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh. I've used them before with no problems, but feeling resentful' about this visit and experience! Just wanted to unload really!
  15. Because I can get the same model from Thomann that runs on a different frequency and doesn't require a license.
  16. On Saturday I rang PMT Northampton and reserved a Shure PSM200 iem set. I asked to check if they were all good for UK use and assured that they were. Took a train in from MK today to pick it up. I asked again if it was good for unlicensed UK use. One guy straight away said it's fine, but the fella serving me took some time to check. The frequency that it operated on needed a UK license. He checked by phone with another guy who said it needs a license but no one ever checks. I've got my deposit back and will buy elsewhere. Disgusted by their cavalier attitude and fuming that I've wasted a couple of hours of my day off. I had a browse while I was there and noticed that they've taken their prices off of everything - it's now 'check at til' Just wanted to get that off my chest - thanks for listening!
  17. I'm about to buy a PSM 200 set . . . having seen your post, is there any particular reason I shouldn't?
  18. I've just bought one of those combinations and in the process of persuading some of my band to do likewise!
  19. Doesn't surprise me. I'm sure my rig would be fine for medium pubs without pa, but the other guys moan at me for being too loud on stage and prefer to pump me out the front. Probs going in ear soon but that's another thread!!
  20. Or a single very efficient small cab. I often use mine in a five piece band and it's more than loud enough for stage monitoring without using additional monitors. For the audience it's through the PA. Barfaced Big Baby cab.
  21. Flash sale on ZS10's at the moment - £24 https://m-uk.gearbest.com/earbud-headphones/pp_1707254.html?wid=1433363&currency=GBP&vip=14752948&gclid=Cj0KCQiA6JjgBRDbARIsANfu58HU7Lu8mrPl9rI4OXKyZChW_DDnPGdIJ6pLhM-vuLr2XNfV0_LnZG4aAqYwEALw_wcB
  22. I remember it kicking off at a gig in Kettering while we were playing 'Riders on the Storm' . . . . play on lads - perfect!
  23. We played for the Freemasons last Saturday. We had a table in the main hall with the guests and the same three course meal. Couldn't have been better looked after. Happy daze.
