    My old one was reliable. I sold it on and it now pays it's dues being abused at a local jam night. Volume wise it should stand up to pub gigs (unless stupid loud) or bigger gigs with PA support.

    I just bought a 96 passive Bubinga corvette from the forum with hard case and postage at £450. Well pleased at that price. It weighs 9.6 pounds so no featherweight but not overly heavy either. The thing plays like butter and sounds killer. Wouldn't have gone to £600 for it.

    Bought a Warwick Corvette Bubinga from Andrew. The bass was as described. He had sorted a problem with the straplocks which was disclosed. Fair price. Good communication. Bass packaged to within an inch of it's life, this guy must be a professional packer or something! Deal with confidence.

    I used a Wharfedale WPM 1 for a while, but it made my mic stand unstable, not good in a rowdy pub where the crowd are in your face, I also thought it sounded boxy unless going through a separate Eq. I now use a Behringer 210d ten inch powered PA speaker. I cut the bass on the speaker. It's got a good sound and loud enough for our band. Pretty impressed!

    'The Box' 12" powered sub. Full working order. Reasonable condition, a few scrapes and scratches commensurate with live use. This is never gonna provide the bottom for a full on metal or reggae band in a large venue, but certainly adds oomph to the kick and bass in a pub, or with a quieter band, a medium sized venue.     Not light but definitely not a boat anchor. What's it like neck wise? More like a J or a P?

    Not sure what my model is offhand, but it's a pretty top end model with zebrano top. As per the previous poster I've fitted an Artec pre, volume, blend bass and treble, and it's absolutely transformed the bass. I'm about to put a glockenclang in, purely for the passive bypass, but the Artec will deffo be goi g into something else. A cheap and easy fix!
