1. Hartke HA5500 bass head for sale. You all know the schmaltz on these. Got a new preamp valve. I'm pricing this cheap as it's got an intermittent fault on the 'post eq' di. The 'Pre Eq' di works fine. Otherwise in good condition. Complete with rack ears. £120 I bought this from the bass player from Stray who used it for loads of their gigs. I also used it when supporting Madness at Northampton Cricket Ground last September so it's got plenty of gigging experience :-) Collection from sunny Milton Keynes or will post insured at cost to UK. Loud, versatile and . . . . ermm . . . . pretty lights on the EQ. 2. Another bass for sale . . . this one's a Fender Squier 'Vintage Modified' Jazz bass. It's had the following improvements. A 'Fender' Decal added to the headstock, Vintage Fender style tuners added and Jazz style control knobs. It's got a beautifully grained maple two piece body with no noticeable knocks or dings. Plays and looks lovely. This is the bass I used with The Bighead on our second Germany tour and also the bass I played with them recently at the Buckingham Big Bash. It's also featured at loads of Curvyz gigs. £200 collected from Sunny Milton Keynes no offers no trades. Bloody bargain. Will come with standard type strap pegs fitted. Will post insured only at cost to UK. 3. Sold Ted a bass. Arranged to meet where I was playing a gig in London. Ted turned up on time and deal was done with a minimum of fuss. Nice bloke, good to do business with :-)
4. Sold Davy a Yamaha Five String. Good communication all round and didn't mess me about at all. Deal done with minimum of fuss. Happy days :-)
5. Beautiful sunburst Yamaha five string with gold hardware. Overall in great condition with a few slight marks, the worst of which are pictured close to the jack socket. Active two band EQ, Alder body with nice grain showing and a few little bits of flame on the neck. Great player with a lovely low action. A little bit of silver is showing through the gold on the machine heads. Stupidly low price which is firm as I'd rather keep it than go lower. Would prefer collection from Milton Keynes but will ship insured at cost if you can give me time to source suitable packing. Currently fitted with dunlop strap locks but will come with conventional strap fittings. 6. I've not played a 605 but I've got a bbg5s. It's the second one I had and I really love it. Fives aren't for me though so watch this space. I don't think k it was very high up in Yamaha's range but both of mine were put together with the typical yamaha quality you'd expect. Nice even tone across the board and plenty of tonal variation!
