1. Year of birth bass for me and I'm a jazz bass man through and through. This looks in amazing condition for it's age. I would love to own this but unfortunately couldn't justify spending that much. I'm sure someone's gonna be a happy happy boy . . . .
2. I bought an inuke power amp that packed up at a gig after a couple of months. Got a replacement and need to get over my nerves and start using it!
3. Replied - now sold will amend title. Thanks for your interest.
4. Olympic White with Tort Scratchplate. I've owned this from new - serial dates it to between 2007 and 2010. It's made in Japan and is a 1964 reissue. It's completely mint, not a mark on it. Currently strung with Fender flats but I can re set it up with rounds if required. Short scale makes it ideal for those with smaller hands and/or bad backs. Gigged a few timesbut well cared for. No issues whatsover - only moving on because I find it hard to move between long and short scale. Includes a soft case, these retail for over £700 new so grab yourself a bargain at £450 No overseas sales, would prefer cash on collection. Will post for cost with payment by bank transfer. Based in Milton Keynes Here's the pics . . . .
5. Free bump for a bargain - I got one I take to gigs as my spare!
6. Fantastic compact cab in green. 300W 8 Ohms. This has seen quite bit of use and has a few scuffs and tears in the tolex as pictured. Incredibly loud for it's size, I've used this at a number of small to medium venues. Priced to reflect cosmetic condition at £225 firm - collection from Milton Keynes or Leighton Buzzard. Specs available here . . . http://www.aguilaram...inets_db112.htm May consider a trade for a semi acoustic bass.
the zoom b9.1ut has a jaco setting, which although isnt exactly right I think its as close as you're going to get via cheapish effects. I quite like it.
And it's on special offer for £99 at GAK - complete bargain of the bleedin' century!
8. Bump - would there be mote interest if I put passive pups in? Comments on the pricing welcome.

10. It's with great reluctance that I offer this bass for sale, but I have a surfeit of Jazz Basses and need the room. 1998 Crafted in Japan Jazz Bass Basswood Body EMG Active Pickups Upgraded spiral saddle bridge Mirror scratchplate She's seen quite a bit of playing and has a few knocks and scrapes commensurate with it's use, the worst of which are shown in the pictures. A tastefully applied butterfly sticker covers two screw holes drilled by the previous owner to hold a ground wire in place As can be seen, there's been a bit of butchery under the hood with various screw holes drilled for different scratch plates, and some wood taken from the side of the control cavity. None of this is visible with the scratchplate fitted. It currently has a mirrored scratchplate fitted. This isn't the best fit with the control plate, but if necessary I can supply the bass instead with the original black scratchplate. The neck is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous grain pattern on the headstock radiating from the 'D' string machine head. Machine heads are of the 'lightweight' type and work perfectly. The neck is true with a fully functioning truss rod. There is a little wear on the frets (pictured) but this doesn't affect playability and can't be felt when bending strings. There is a patch of discolouration on the back of the neck - pictured. I haven't the facilities to weigh the bass but I'd describe it as medium weight - no featherweight, but neither is it a boat anchor. It's running an action of a smidge over 2mm at the 12th fret. There are no noticeable dead spots. This is a tasty sounding players bass and I'm offering it for sale at £[s]450[/s] £380 collected from Leighton Buzzard or Milton Keynes, or £[s]470[/s] 400 delivered in person to any mainline railway station between London Euston and Birmingham New St. It doesn't come with a case. May be interested in trades for a lightweight head. Would prefer not to post at the moment but will consider posting if it doesn't sell quickly. Her name is 'Veronica'!
11. An issue I've had a few times with Fenders going out of tune is where the saddle screws are loose and vibrate undone when you play, making the strings go flat. Unscrew the screw then apply the tiniest dab of threadlock of possibly nail varnish on the threads before screwing back in and adjusting to height usually does the trick :-)
12. Free bump for a fantastic and well priced amp - used to have one - very nice!
13. Bought one of these last week after trying in PMT Northampton. I gigged it saturday night at a club gig with my trio. Plenty loud enough but found the bottom end quite boomy and not very tight. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm thinking maybe it's something to do with the contouring EQ. I might try again but pull the bass right back to maybe 8 or 9 o'clock on the dial - this would cut around 80hz but add some 100hz (I think). 100Hz I reckon gives a bit more punch. Be interested in the view of the TC guy on here.
14. Soooo glad I'm no longer doing the Floyd tribute or that'd be very tempting. Good luck with the sale Loz. BTW - 13 months off the pop now!
15. I've got one of these - my regular squeeze - it's the dogs! Free bump!
