1. Hi Mate - I've been getting a lot of pain in the same finger for a few months. How do you know you've torn a tendon - did you have an accident?
2. Is that a picture of the actual bass or a Rondo advertising shot?
3. What a nice way to end a 'for sale' thread - the bass was tomboys first baby - glad to see her going home - sold pending the usual!
4. Need to mention that since I posted - I've moved the top strap button to underneath the horn ala the later ones to make it balance better - consequently I'll knock a tenner off - £140 collected!
5. Second hand Korg AX3000B - good synths, tracks well - and loads of other stuff thrown in!
6. Yep - we do Roxanne but in A, and walking on the moon but in G/Am. Also do message in a bottle in the original key - I knpw when I'm on a good un when I can sing "and it seems I'm never alone . . . . . " in the higher octave!
7.
She be posted mr Tut - 2 day courier i believe but i wouldnt bet my granny's bowler hat on it. Ya never know with delivery services. They seem to be on a planet of their own
Oooh lotsa crimbo fun for the Tut!! Thanks Mr Bag!
8. Just traded a Jazz for a Thumb with Simon. Met as per arrangements - bass is as described and he's a nice chap. Well pleased with the bass - cheers!
9. Sorry to hijack the thread - but Beedster sold me an old Ibanez recently. It came with medium light rounds and the G string sounded light. I restrung with flats and now I have to compensate the E string height cos that sounds light. Basically just echoing what Chris says abot the PUP heights. Can't wait to get the truss rod cover to complete the Ibby nudge nudge!
10. As it says on the box - including a Fender moulded case - £550. She's a great player - no significant dead spots. A small dink on the bottom which is photographed and a few tiny wear marks, slight buckle creases in the finish on the back but unable to photograph them. This is a seriously nice playing bass with the S1 switch adding great depth and versatility to the instrument - god knows why they discontinued it! A surfeit of Jazzes forces this sale! Collection from Milton Keynes
11.
Considering trades?
Let me know what you've got!
12.
Is that the one you sold/traded to Deaver that I bought off him then swapped with you for the Ibby SR900 , if so then im glad your enjoying the bass , funny how things work out sometimes
That is indeed the one! You getting on with the Ibby?
13. Switch all the effects off, then save the patch. When you go back to it - they'll all be off!
14. My favourite bass is a CIJ Jazz made of basswood. It's sunburst and not the prettiest but has a lovely tone to it. Got rid of it once but managed to track it down and got it back!
15. Ooooh so tempted - and I'm local! MUST RESIST!
