1. Just a quick word about late 70's Fenders. I have a 77 sunburst/maple ash Jazz - it's the heaviest bass I own but my god does it sound awesome - indeedy! Funnily I don't notice the weight when I gig it as it balances well!
2.
Can anyone lend me £625? Pleeeease!
Ha ha - shouldn't havve sold me the SQ - it's a beast!
3. I've tried many multi fx and found tracking to be a problem on both Boss and Line Six stuff. Korg and Zoom units seem to track much better - I'm loving my Zoom B9.1u at the moment!
4. I've got the older version - it kicks - versatile EQ and very punchy but warm tone. Just bear in mind if you run an extension cab it needs to be 4 ohms or you'll drop power.

Gargle 3 times a day with warm salt water.
6. Lucky bugger - please play and enjoy it!
7. Would a standard fender neck fit in the body - it's got lovely grain!
8. No worries mate - I've got far too many basses as it is! I believe it was called Daphne Blue and was a common colour for MIM's. I was always amazed at the power of the original P split pickup in this bass. You didn't buy it off me - I traded it to basschatter AlfieNoakes for far too less than I should have done. Good luck with the sale - she's a beautiful player!
9. Sorry - didn't see the pics at first - yep that's my old one! I'm tempted - would ya take £240 posted? I might regret this in the morning!
10. I think this used to be mine. It is awesome - it's not refinished - any chance of some pics?
11. I have to echo the comments about the angle of the dangle! The early ones were worse because the strap peg was on the top side of the top horn. Shifting it to the bottom face of the top horn helps - I do find them uncomfortable though compared to a fender - which is a shame cos otherwise they're crackers!
12. It's clockwise to tighten the rod and thus straighten the neck. Just do it about 1/4 of a turn at a time then retune and leave for a day. If it won't tighten, then loosen a little before tightining.
13. Hi Smashie and welcome. Whereabouts in Bucks are you mate?
14. More details and pics please - yeah there's interest - give us some info snap snap!
15. As moonbassalpha said - my Laney Supergroup does dirty very nicely thank you! If you can find one at the price I did you'll be very happy indeed!
16. Bugger - missed it twice now!
17. Wish my misses would agree to me having one - i'd buy this in a flash!
