Swapped my Ric for Nick's lovely 64 CS jazz. Bass was as described. Meet up was painless and we had a nice chat over a beer. Would definately deal with the fella again!
There's a BB614 on ebay at the mo, 100 quid with one day to go but the listing doesn't inspire confidence .. Several "scammer" trademarks...

I want to start using ebay but I'm worried about being scammed - how can you tell? What are the trademarks? -
Any chance of some pics?

Looks to me like a standard 'WD Music' body - see here http://www.wdmusic.co.uk/category/Bodies

Glad you're pleased with it David - i was gonna PM you but don't need to now. After we left you, Woody became poorly and has been feeling very sorry for himself, but an expensive trip to the vet's seems to have sorted him out - must have been the boredom of the M1!!
Enjoy the bass,

I'd seen Paul with Spaced Out and he was a bloody good drummer. My sympathy to his loved ones. Will be at the funeral later today.

Not too sure about prices, but two GORGEOUS looking basses!
-
I shouldn't be bumping you cos I'm selling my VMJ on here - but .....phwoaaar.....what a neck!
-
I've weighed me holding one on some bathroom scales (on an uneven garage floor - don't tell the wife) and it comes out to just over 60 lb - not including me!
Because of the shape and location of the handles they are an achievable one man lift.
Unless i'm mistaken these are Loud inc cabs
I have a Loud 410 and it's a fantastic Box for the cash..... actually only paid £80 for mine and on a gig it's as good as any 410 i've used
I wisj my amp would go lower than 4ohm i'd buy one (or both) to add to my 410

Thanks Marcus,
There's no name or any sign of a manufacturer on them, and despite being scruffy, they sound real good - a bargain for someone looking to buy a cheap rig! -
PM'd back Bigd1.

david bought my Yamaha bex 4. We arranged a halfway meet up and David got there first. A nice guy to deal with!
