1. My missus comes if she fancies it and she doesn't mind me having a bass room.
 2.
Because more people have got them?
/Thread
 3.
I had a Pro II for a few years and it was awesome. +1 to making sure you look after it and bias it properly though. From what I can remember, there's a couple of adjusting screw/pots round the back with 2 little pairs of lights (one red/one green) to help set the bias. If you're looking at a single cab, SERIOUSLY consider the Ampeg 410HLF. Massive sound from a single 4 Ohm cab. Great bottom end but real grunt and THE Ampeg tone. Not exactly a small 410 but not exactly a small sound either and TBH, you don't notice the weight/size as it's really portable with the wheels and handles. There's been a couple for sale recently for much cheapness! HTH Tony
Cheers buddy, that's the exact cab I have settled on, one went on eBay last night for £275 but it was in Scotland Glad to hear it'll do exactly what I'm after.
 4. Sorry mate, really looking for a 410HLF I may sell at some point.
 5. Oh oh I do have an Ashdown 1X15" I could give plus monies to you.
 6.
Wow that ones got enough to suck the valves out and pebbledash the wall with them! I was thinking more along the lines of this.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/19-rack-mount-coolin...=item45fb3406c2 tho i,m using only one fan in the centre for mine that twin one will keep the amp happy in even the hottest club.
Excellent, cheers. Now to find a 4OHM cab I'll be f***ed if I'm taking 2 cabs to a gig.
 7.
It really looks sweet If the sale falls through, please can I buy it? (and I should have been quicker )
Already been paid for I'm afraid I know of a really nice Warwick Rockbass FS.......
 8.
I was just saying to my misses that I was going to buy it and bang, it's gone!
sorry.

 10. Decided I'm keeping 3 basses This is a wonderful bass I have added the Fender decal and the ashtrays were luthier fitted (Andy Crockett) he also wired in Wizard 84's This is a lot of bass for the money. £200
 11. It is awesome but not using it back for sale.
 12.
No. How would we know what who needs and when. The basses do not break under normal use. Also, the dealer would have to buy the parts so maybe ask them. They are new to our basses and they are in the UK. I don't know in Europe who buys from whom. Today I am sending a Truss rod nut (stripped by using the wrong wrench) and a set of strings to Turkey. I am having lunch now and my sandwich costs more than what I will make on that order.
Maybe so but the guy will remember the good service and tell people.
 13.
Congratulations on getting an awesome amp mate, take the wise advice and use 4 ohm cabs and enjoy! It,s worth getting a rack mounted fan at the rear to aid cooling and make sure the left side of the amp where the internal fan lives get plenty of ventilation as these cookies run hot. Great amps! I have 2 :-D
Like this ? 14.
The two together will be ok - 2 x 8ohm cabs = 4 ohms - but obviously be careful about using the amp on full power bearing in mind the wattage of the cabs
Yeah but taking 2 cabs to every gig is a pain in the arse. wouldn't each cab be getting 150W?
 15.
you only have 2 and 4 ohm settings do not under-estimate the importance of biasing - get it wrong and the valves will blow - also the amp has a built-in valve protection system that will also close the amp down if something is wrong - in this respect some amps can be very very sensitive and be forever closing down former svt2pro owner - i emphasize the FORMER
Right then get rid of the 2 cabs and buy 1 4OHM
 16.
Is it yours now Wayne?
No, as my dad always said 'This says mug not c***'
 17. Also can I use a single 8OHM cab with it?
 18. Couple of questions 1. How many U? 2. I have 2 cabs rated at 200W @ 8OHM each will these be ok? 3. What's all that valve bias stuff about?
