My conclusion to this thread is: Ken Smith basses good. Ken Smith a bit pompous and arrogant although I do agree with the last post of his. The reason me, Skank and Pete sometimes go a bit OT is lighten the mood a little, it doesn't hurt.

I sh*t you not, first phone call I got today was from a guy called Kenneth Smith.

I do a lot of refins and usually I'm happy with a matt finish but I'm doing one at the moment that I want a gloss Fender like finish with, I have been doing the usual stuff, primed, lots of cutting back between coats but when it's finish I want it to come up nice.
