1. I'm glad you decided to sell instead of re-finishing it, I will own this one day but not at the moment. You know what I'm going to re-fin my P-bass in this colour tomorrow
 2. Either way a flamed maple neck for £70 isn't bad.
 3. I have just seen the BT is now £415 new Still none second hand though
 4. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, I had a gig last night and I used my Sterling then had to go to Birmingham today and after the M25 traffic I'm just gonna eat soup and watch telly tonight.
 5. Go for 7/8 best of both worlds. That's one for the math fans .
 6.
ah turning to the orange side then. are you selling up the ampeg gear or keeping both rigs.
Keeping both, the weight of the Ampeg is silly for pub and small club gigs.
 7.
Gone Cheers dude.
Excellent
 8. I paid £35 to have my Sterling, set up, re-strung, buckle rash taken out, neck sanded, electrics looked over and fretwork done by a great luthier (DW Maidstone)
 9.
Says the man with the "Nevada precision bass".
To answer your question, I love Fenders but I'd prefer a hand built Jazz over a production model and I ain't paying for a 'Masterbuild'
 10. £3.5K I prefer the block neck, f***ing ugly bass though.
 11.
what made you go for the squier compared to the Fender?
Price and convenience, my missus is getting it for my birthday and I have sold stuff (although PP won't let me have the funds) to get a Bass Terror and an OCB 115 so a Fender is out of my range.
 12.
did you go for the Fender or the squier?
Squier from a gentleman not too far from here.
 13. Finally picking one up tomorrow.
 14.
I have to say Wayne, that sounded nothing like a fretless bass.
It did to my ears and that's the only pair I have.
 15.
Sorry mate, I did search. Doesn't have YouTube in the title so didn't come up! Please feel free to remove if necessary! Dave
Not up to me mate just thought you'd get more views there. FWIW I'm not a Jaco fan but I thought you got a really good fretless tone from a fretted bass.

 17.
Having found myself looking at £150 PUPs on ebay last night and also considering a John East preamp, I think this baby had better go after all. It will otherwise cost me a bloody fortune (I've spent a couple of hundred on the other Jag as it is) Wayne, if you want it, I owe you a favour, so we can negotiate on price (especially if you can collect it mate)! Cheers C
Wish I could mate but no monies Good luck buddy
 18.
That will be a nice setup...the OBC115 is a lovely cab!
I hope so, I'm just fed up of taking the Ampeg stuff to pub gigs.
 19.
If you're in or near Brum before you get the OTB and OBC115 and want to hear what they sound like together, give me a shout. Happy to demo mine.
Cheers buddy, might take you up on that. Am I right in think someone had an orange case made for theirs on here?
 20.
Both great but with the rh450 you get alot more do the monies. For example phones out for silent practice and the DI isn't going to be too hot like OTB's.
I don't do silent practice and I have the SVT for gigs that are big enough to be DI'd but good points.
