2.
Will you still paint bass bodies? I have one already stripped, but the wood is too wrecked for my usual oil finish.
I can do mate, if you want I can give you a shout next time I'm down your way?
 3.
Fixed This should make it easier for any beginners who follow tab very strictly...
As long as Doddy can now work out how to play it. Edit: Beaten to it.
 4. If anyone cares the main riff is based around (although I worked it out so it could be wrong.) -------------------------------- -------------7------------------ ----------9----------5H7------- ------7----------3----------0-- Great to jam to.
 5.
Yeah, I want something from 1983 - but what was actually good back then ? It certainly isn't Fenders.
I was thinking the same, '83 Fenders are too much for they are but it might be worth it to have one, hmmmm. I might just get my dad's YOB instead.
 6.
Lyrics are great though.
This is true.
 7.
If Pharrell wasn't such a slut, I would love his work.
Indeed, to be fair that bass is added by Zero 7 it isn't on the original. Love Zero 7.
 8. Totally forgot about this song going to spend some time tomorrow working it out, incredible bass, this has pure groove.
 9.
All that gold and they still couldn't be bothered to do the back of the neck. Why?
Because no one sees it and painted necks feel nasty.
 10.
Yeah, the larger number will probably be peak power, the continuous is generally what people look at when they see the power rating of heads and cabs IIRC. If you run both cabs through one side, it looks like they'll have 170w each. Running one from each side will give 205w each.
Interesting.
 11.
Good evening, waynepunkdude... If I'm reading this correctly, you'll get 1 x 375 if you connect both cabs to one side only (4 ohm together...), but 2 x 250 if you connect one cab to each side (8 ohm each...). So, 375w or 500w, your call. The amp would perhaps be happier working balanced into 2 x 8 ohm, imho... Of course, you could always add two more cabs, and get 2 x 375 (750w...) Hope this helps.
According to the manual (attached) seems it's a little more powerful than I thought @ 4OHMS it'll be 210W each which is pretty much perfect.
 12.
Probably, although I doubt you'd do any harm connecting one to each channel. You'll probably only be giving each cab the full amount of power when the amp is running flat out, so as long as you turn down if you hear any nasty distortion, you'll be fine. I think.
I do run one of them atm with no problem but running them both at 4OHMS sounds safer I have another 2 cabs for the other side anyway
 13.
The two 8ohm cabs will equal 4 ohms if they are both connected up, as such your amp will output 300 watts which will be split equally between the cabs. So, each cab gets 150 watts.
That is awesome. Soon I'll have two 200W cabs and each side of my amp runs @ 375 4 OHMs or 250W @ 8 OHMs so I was wondering whether to run one on each side or both on one side so going by what you say it'll be safer to run them both on one side.
 14. If I have 2 cabs each @ 8OHMs and say for example the head runs at 200W @ 8OHMs and 300W @ 4 OHMs would that mean each cab would get 150W or 300W?
 15. Anyone got any info on these, I know Neil Young uses one as a guitar cab, I've heard you can get them as a 6 X 15 + 4 X 12 but can't find any info.
 16.
I don't see what the big deal is. By all accounts she's got the money and so she's gone out and bought a an instrument that not only looks good but sounds good and plays well too.
I seriously worry about your sight sometimes.
