6.
"This item is in stock in our Canterbury shop. Please contact the shop before travelling to avoid disappointment". What? The disappointment of seeing it? "Our Secondhand instruments come with a six month guarantee. If the instrument develops any new problems within this time, you can bring it back to us for a free repair" Would you really notice any new problems over and above those it already has?
Seen it in the flesh mate, abomination.
 7.
trade for a Tony Levin OLP MM5 + cash?
Is that the Orange one?

 9.
Slight bone of contention - Squier is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fender, so the designs are not licensed by Fender and Squier are "allowed" to make budget copies - Squier IS Fender making budget versions of their own designs, wherever in the far East it is most economically advantageous to do so. OLP is a completely separate entity from EBMM, that's why OLP needed EBMM's permission through licensing to copy the designs.
Haha I did my best.
 10.
In lay terms, what's the difference between the Sub, Sterling, Stingray, etc? Assume the Stingray is the US prestige version, a la an MIA Fender? With the others being somewhat cheaper models? Good call on the lack of contouring. My Charvel gives me the kind of bruises I only ever saw after rugby!
OK I'll give it a go Musicman Sterling and Stingray are the top ones like a P and a Jazz Then the SUB was the budget version but more like a MIJ Fender most of them were Stingray specs but there were a few with Sterling specs/ Sterling by MM are the replacement for the SUB. There was also the OLP which was the low end versions made by a different company but licensed by MM like Squier. There are also other models by MM like the Big Al, Bongo and such like but they are only available as full fat, no budget version.
 11. Sold Howard a P Bass, top guy to deal with.

 17.
Yeah I can't say I blame you for that. Doing squares this size isn't too bad, but it's just so fiddly
My trick is to buy tape the same width as you want the squares to be.
 18.
Well, i've got about a 3rd of the edging to go but the amount you have to think to try and get everything to match up or just to look right is unbelievable. It ends up hurting your head. I've just had to stop for 10 minutes to give my head a rest. Thing is, it hasn't even gone to be white coated yet. I'm feeling a bit pessimistic about it because I'm worried there will be bleed under the tape in which case I then have to either sit there with a very fine paint brush correcting the bleed or I have to back mask it and do the black work again. Don't get me wrong, I think it looks fantastic at the minute and I can't wait until I get it finished but I'm never going to do such an intricate design again. I've got my next couple of customs planned out and I know they won't be half as hard or time consuming as this. Think I'm going to go and get on to sanding down the neck for a while and get that prepared for when I get the new logo done for it
First time I did it I was a little ambitious about the size of the squares, after that they got bigger.
