9. Really nice bass this but I may have told the missus I swapped it for a bass rather than buying the other bass oops. It's 32" scale. Strung with flats, £50 would prefer pick up but can send or drop off somewhere. SOLD
 10. Hi the active pick ups need 3 wires at the input jack insteead of the usual 2.These active jacks are the barrel type. They still use normal sized guitar leads but the plastic jack housing has to be thinner.Your leads may fit but some dont.I thought id mention it in the add
 11.
Most of the time I could get away with a 3 string never mind a 5 stringer. I had a 5 but couldn`t get used to it at all. Jez
I could usually get away with 2.
 12.
He's selling it to because he wants to put a deposit on a HOUSE?! £30 for a deposit on a house, or £30 towards a deposit on a house. Either way it's hillarious!
He is going to get a surprise when he gets to the bank.
 13. Ah not worth it for me then, cheers Jon. I have my eye on a few 5's this is interesting http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...T#ht_500wt_1156 Not really sure what he means by the lead thing.
 14. I find it hard to play a 4 string song on a 5 string, I think it must be because I don't use 5's very often but my hands get lost.
 15. Didn't but I need one for one song now, I've never heard anything listenable on anything above 6.
 16. Anybody know what bass this is off? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-STRING-BASS-BODY-P...8#ht_500wt_1156

 18.
Maple and blocks you say? Will have to take a close up so you can appreciate the subtle birdseye and wenge in all it's glory!
That is stunning, I'm looking for a 5 atm, does one of these fit into my£80 budget?
 19.
A lady who plays acoustic guitar (not well) in our band has an EKO 12 string guitar she bought new in 1967 and it still has the original strings on it, :yuk: She likes the sound of it. I think it's sh*t but there you are.
To be fair she must be decent not to have broken one in that time.
