1. I didn't spot the bargain myself it was on this very forum (turns out I paid £30 ) http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=102378 TBH the reason I get a lot of bargains is because I travel around the country with work local pick up isn't a problem I just pay then pick up when I'm passing. I'm going to keep it as is, my first gigging bass was a sunburst Squier P and as much as I don't like the colour it reminds me of that bass and brings back good memories.
 2. I had a wolfgang copy from them and it was bloody awful
 3. Use number plate double sided tape that way if you change your mind you haven't drilled your bass.
 4.
You've confused "Steinberger" for "Steinberger Spirit" - made in Japan I believe - sort of "entry" version. The Steinberger equivalent of Warwick Rockbass... I may be wrong but if so I invite offers for my 4 string..
£5?

 6.
Blimey, I sort of assumed that Steinberger were quite exclusive, rather than kindling!!!!
+1
 7.
It depends if you consider a knowledge of lacquer to be training.
When you're 12 I would
 8. Are you telling me the body looks like wood to the un-trained eye?
 9. When you first started playing did you realise the body was made out of wood? I didn't
 10.
It's a shame you're not closer as we are actually looking for a cat at the moment.
He could send in the post, I mean 1 out of the 29 should survive.
 11.
Hey, BurritoBass it must be just you & me that got that Spacehog album! I still like it. I can't find many people who have ever heard of them. Never saw them live though, sounds like I missed out. I only saw Supergrass twice & they were great both times, but it was early days 1st & 2nd album time. Norm.
I remember Spacehog, I got 'In the Meantime' on cassette single.
 12.
That was a Hohner B2A, after he did his back in - I remember he later flogged it on Ebay! J.
Correct http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...p;hl=supergrass

 15. They are my missus' favourite band, I once spent about a month getting together all of their singles ffor her birthday so she had all of the B-sides.

 18.
cool, can you bring it to the next SE or London bash you go to? I'd quite like a reverse headstock so I could put a hipshot on it. I've heard the extra length of the E makes the downtuning to D better. Not sure if it's true though.
Of course
