1. Looks like a nice bass for the money whatever it is.
 2.
Thanks Wayne. I PM'd Nottswarwick earlier this morning
No worries mate.

 4.
This has all the hallmarks of being do-able for me this year (no gig booked that weekend and for once its just after payday rather than just before) Count me in Nic
Wanna lift?
 5.
oh and some jap ones have basswood body and jap vintage pups, others have alder body and USA pups. If they don't have the spiral bridge and the grounding strip it may not be a 62 ri....
It had both those things, the thing that aroused my suspicions was when I asked the shop guy the original questions he said "It's a re-issue of something" didn't give me much confidence. He had up for £550 and it was a nice bass TBF.
 6. I posted this in another thread but got no reply. I saw a Jazz in a shop the other day marked up as a 62RI MIJ but it had 3 knobs and no tug bar, is that right? It also didn't have block inlays.
 7. Picking it up on Wednesday. Cheers for the heads up guys. Going to give it to a friend who needs a new bass but has no funds. Edit picked it up 5 months later, friend now has new bass.
 8.
in what way is he a dick? I really like his first album.
I saw him in an interview stoned off of his face giving one word answers, just thought he was a dick, some of his basslines are cracking though.
 9.
Gaaaaah, beat me to it, but can I just add How much?
Sold mate, it was bound to go quick at that price.
 10. I though Dining tables and basses with more than 5 strings have had more.
 11. I remember when these first came out, they got a must buy award from Total Guitar. Fantastic pedals.
 12.
Thanks but I will not have a checkerboard car parked outside my gaff. I have my credibility to think of
Haha, I really want one of these.
 13.
Only if it includes P&P
For that price I'll drive it to you personally.
 14. In fact I have one left, so if anyone wants to put £50 my way it's theirs.
 15. I quite like some of his stuff but from what I have seen the man is a dick.
 16.
Folks I picked this up on the forum a few years back with intentions for it which never transpired. By now, it should be in my friend's Santa Monica rehearsal studio cupboard, occasionally being used when people didn't have their gear, but that didn't happen. It has been gathering dust (as you can see in the pic) and I desperately want it to get some kind of use. It's some kind of old Jazz copy made by Antoria and the original owner has replaxed the pickups with something else. If anyone can make use of it then please PM me and we'll arrange to do a handover as I really, really need the space. Rob
Might be worth doing up and giving away to a good cause or a skint beginner.
 17. Slightly OT but I saw a Jazz in a shop the other day marked up as a 62RI MIJ but it had 3 knobs and no tug bar, is that right? It also didn't have block inlays.
 18.
So if everybody did suddenly go out and buy a Gus, what basses would you have to start playing?
