Controversial I think P-basses are a one trick pony abate it's a very good trick, I'd say get an SX P-bass you'll get a really nice finish a great P-bass sound and you'll save yourself £1300. /Controversial.

They defiantly do, I have one my self and it sounds amazing, obviously I made some adjustments.

Ampeg B2re, I used to have one and upgraded to an SVT but I still miss it. You can get them second hand for around £200.
