1. Not a fan mate, prefer the black ones, awesome bass though.
2.
Try it, it's a belter. Handed down from generation to generation of the Moos3h family!
I will certainly do that and let you know mate
3. Bought some strings, quick delivery and came with a Yorkshire pudding recipe
4. They still looking Jase? This looks like a change of direction I could use.
5. I bi-amp with the SVT 5, I use an Ashdown 1 X 15 for the low end, sounds great to me.
6. I guess my point is it doesn't inspire me and that's the point surely.
7. No doubt he is good and better than me but most people are but the tone sat really badly on my ears and I felt this was an exercise in ego stroking than a musical exercise.
8.
Wayne sadly its not! Probably only god and Fenders marketing dept know where they are made, nut they are indeed geniune Fender startert packs...... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starcaster_by_Fender
Well f*** me, they are utter sh*te I'm suprised Fender would lend their name to them
9.
Also, I just saw this in Argos. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/part...ESTARCASTER.htm Isn't that quite cheap for a fender?
That's just plain old false advertising.
10. "Hollywood is a breeding ground for assholes Egos get as big, as Billy Corgans (THAT'S BIG!) Skinny girl, eat some more food! Muscleman, you look like a f***ing freak!"
11. I'll be there bringing a selection from the WPD collection.
12. I had a gig on the third floor once and I couldn't be bothered to lift the Ampeg all the way up so I whipped out the SF I sold it the next day for £40.
13.
If I were to go back in time to choose a bass I would have started with a squier VMJ, I recommend you try one.
I'm sitting in a room full of Fenders and I'm playing my VMJ at the moment, without doubt the best value for money bass there is.
14.
Hey this is going to be wicked. We could start a pimped Encore club.
Yes we should I have 2. This awesome BTW.
15.
Passive is a good way to start imho as its simple to get a nice sound out of it quickly. A yamaha rbx170 aint a bad thing, only played one for 10 mins but im sure my mate gigs with one. Cheap and cheerful in my eyes.
I have an RBX170 (I say I have it I haven't seen it for ages ) a lot of bang for the buck also a P/J pick up configuration so lots of tones available.
16. I think there is a little bit of snobbery with it too, honestly I love the sound of my amp it's incredible but shamelessly I also love it because it has a shiney SVT badge on the front of it and I've always aspired to have one.
17. How about a P/J with an amp for £85? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...IT#ht_624wt_958
18.
If it goes for anything like the current £75 bid then yes - I'm currently using the same head into a BW115 and it rocks - stupidly loud for 150w. Jon.
Exactly what I used to use, amazing little amp.
19. I always use Dava Controls, they are a little flexible in the middle so you can dig in and not snap or get stuck plus they have a grip so they don't slip.
20.
I rather like that - what is it?
+1
21. Here's a couple from today. I climbed a tree Then I stole an old man's scooter
22.
Now thats just being cheeky infering I'd fall for the old PMPO trick. Thats for people who buy there HiFi from Toys R Us. At the end of the day output Watts are irrelevant really. Decibels are what really counts.
I didn't mean any offence at all mate I just thought Behringer used PMPO.
