Agreed thats a nice bit of work.
Only downer is the machine head, I have had such terrible experiences with MIM hardware its unreal.
Good for the money though, would like to see Wayne buy it and paint it, could be a nice project
Did consider it but I'm saving for a MM Sterling and an SVT2 ATM so I have to be a good boy.
This was originally my housemate's bass before Wayne bought it. I gigged it a few times and he never really played it so it was almost like new!
The small area of pitting on the control plate is from being left in the case for a year as my mate gave up playing bass.
Sounded huge through my then Hartke rig, definitely every bit a "proper" USA Musicman for silly money
I think I played 2 gigs with it so all in all it has probably done less than 10 gigs.
even if it might only be a Sterling by MM due to low funds.
Tried the Stirling version of those the other day (if that makes sense?) and I was very impressed.
Great bass this, had a lot of fun with it but I don't get on with SR neck I will be getting a Sterling soon based on my experience of this bass.
Price wise I think it's a good price considering I paid £380 for it about 6 months ago and I thought that was cheap.
Dave is a lovely guy and great to deal with.
I used to have one of those Wesleys. not bad basses to be honest but not at that price.
I was thinking of putting LEDs in it at the time but never got round to it.
bass now sold at £416 on ebay, thank god i followed my instincts!
Indeed but you must understand that this site is more of a community and not an auction site, prices are generally lower here due to the fact we don't have to pay a fee for selling and also most people who use this resource also help other members with advice.
Not going well. The seller isn't cooperating at all and eBay sent me a useless reply simply saying I couldn't open a conflict as I haven't paid for the item (I did but was refunded) and I already have another case open (complete non response from another seller after sale). Argh, gonna try phoning eBay tomorrow. Is it worth me sending payment straight back? Hesitant as the refund won't clear into my account for ages.
I've just been told by eBay I need to wait till the 20th before I can open a dispute.
The seller said they meant to list it at £135.99 instead of £35.99. She said if I make an offer near that she'll consider it. This doesn't really seem on. The seller sells a lot of clothing and it seems the kinda situation where she'd value her (presently huge) positive feedback but I'd still feel pretty guilty every time I used the pedal... Don't know what to do.
Chase it I have the same problem at the moment, eBay is a risk on both sides and if you don't review your listing properly then it's your own fault IMO.
Why change the decal? Anti squire?
I really like 70's decals, if I'd put it on one of my Fenders it would have decreased resale value but it won't have that effect on a Squier.
