2. Nope, going to lodge a complaint tomorrow a it's been a week.
3. I had one of those perspex ones, if you like having a working back don't buy one. If you was to buy a bass for £250 you could quite happily spend the rest on the stuff required to paint the bass yourself.
4. Agreed. Swift on the other hand are just junk.
5. Swift are the worst basses ever made I'd rather try to play human faeces with my teeth than pick up another one of those. In this case it probably wasn't suppose to be fretless their factory probably forgot to put them on.
6. Doesn't someone here have one?
7.
You back after a 5?
It's a 4 isn't it?
8.
Output level - or to put it another way - 'just for show' Same as on your Perfect Ten ain't it?
Indeed. BUMP
9. Still am, I wonder down to the local guitar shop pick up the bass with the most strings and whack out all of my Victor Wooten lines until the shop shuts.
10.
Worn frets, a bridge with saddles that don't stay in place for long (due to worn screws) and it's hard to tune / keep in tune (possibly because of the bridge). All the problems could be fixed easily but tbh I don't feel anything for this bass so I do wonder about selling it on and combining the earnings with some other money and getting another shiny thing.
Let me know if you do end up selling, please.
11. I think I've seen this before, it's like a smugness contest.
12. Wish I'd seen this I'd have come see you in Deptford.
13. And I have just found out who Jamerson is, quite a CV.
14.
Hello. I'd welcome any advice about early 90s US made Fenders. I'm considering a 91 Jazz that seems a reasonable price, but I'm going to have to take a gamble on it, as there's no chance I'll be able to try before I buy. I'm aware that late 70s Fenders (for example) are widely considered a bit dodgy - although yes, there are individual exceptions of course - but don't know what the general view is about the late 80s - early 90s. Would be grateful for your thoughts & opinions. Thanks.
I have a '92 Jazz, it's my fave bass, I don't know about any other but mine is great.
15.
The title's already mine sonny. Move along, nothing to see here
Sir you have offended my honour, I demand satisfaction, I challenge you to a duel.
16. He would have put the price up when he discovered the fault to stop people buying it.

19.
This sounds like a job for Bassassin!
I just got his name, took nearly 2 years.
20. Would you be interested in a Gordon Smith Les Paul?
21. Cheers guys, loads to look at there, I will start planning properly on the weekend.
22. I guess you can't get good deals on eBay anymore, as soon as it goes for a price the seller isn't happy with they pull out. I have always understood that if you put it on eBay you should be prepared to get the starting bid for it.
23.
Cheeky get! Was there any explanation?
Apparently he forgot to put a reserve (as well as a description and picture)
