1.
So where are we at with this London Bash ? Seems a bit dead now ?
As I said before if the OP doesn't want to organise it I'm to.
 2.
But that's fine isn't it. I was talking about complete lack of care, chucking an expensive lovely bass about, dumping it in a concrete corner, etc. Road wear is perfectly acceptable.
I concur it winds me up when I see instruments being disrespected but it is the owners choice.
 3.
Jaco had a Jazz with a P-Neck, so... why not?
That's a good reason right there.
 4.
Well you'd probably 'get the sandpaper out' it if it did get chipped anyway.
You know it.
 5. I try to keep mine as pristine as possible, my blue Jazz is a 1992 and it hasn't got a mark and I've done 250+ gigs with it.
 6. I'm thinking about buying it, putting it on a f***ed body I have put some old strings on it and hang it on the wall
 7.
That would be the cheapest option, I think a VMJ neck changed hands for £50 on the forum recently. Also if i didnt like it I could just bung the old neck back on! BB
It certainly did, I sold it.
 8.
Currently v impressed by tom1946s black MiM Jazz in the for sale section I have been set to wondering how sensible an option is it to get a plain dotted neck converted to blocks and binding? I have a lovely Blade B4 with one piece maple neck and ebony fretboard and I assume any competent luthier could do the work but is it likely to change the tone of the bass in anyway? Also wot would be a ballpark figure to expect for the work or should I just shell out for Toms Jazz ( for which i have no room anyway) Cheers BB
Get a VMJ neck.
 9. I'm sorry Nig but you are being utterly deluded in this instance, everyone knows that pineapple on a pizza is plain wrong.
 10. You may knock it and rightly so but a few cans of spray paint and a saw you could have something half decent.
 11.
Naaaa i realised i was an idiot and just put the synth before the muff instead of after it... but i sprayed the pick guard for the SUB black. its flaking off and it looks banging.
Awesome, when are we playing with you next?
 12.
Hope that works. Trace Elliot AH200 GP12 Series 6. Ashdown ABM810 sorted.
Looking good, Ben, did you get rid of the synth?
 13. Nice bass mate, if you ever want it re-finned in yellow give me a shout.
 14.
Its sold already! I was about to get that! Gutted
Me too
 15.
Doom
Awesome. Edit: f***!!!!
 16. If I was to put my 1450W @ 2OHMS head into this what would happen?
 17. Hit a dog with a Jazz bass you should get a growl.
 18.
I'm not interested in having an argument, certainly not about this. It just seemed like a good idea. Still does, as it happens. Bye. J.
Good call Jon
 19.

A key part of that tone is looking really smug and wearing a silly hat so don't forget that.
 20.
Right, just went and measured it up (in its disassembled state - as I've never got around to putting it up!) Width would be approx: 5ft 4" Height would be approx: 5ft Depth at base would be approx: 2ft 2"
Cheers buddy, I'll measure up the bass room tonight
 21.
That was a Jokey Boo to Wayne for his Jokey Post, not a boo to you! I wholly support independent instrument dealers! If you get any Vintage Streamers in you have to let me know!
Go round booing me I'll boo you back. BOOOO!!!!! How do you like it huh?
 22.
Why the bad response ? isn't what this room is for? to post links to your ebay items?
We are just joshing buddy,
