1.
Update: It turns out my friend bass is a Fender Squier Jazz of some sort, or 'Square' as he always calls it..we are out tonight for an indian, I hope his reading is better there, he may get an unwanted surprise! ...not knowing much is this simply a budget Fender Jazz? cheers guys
Squiers come in sorts of flavours, they are essentially a budget Fender but some of them are fantastic basses in their own right. Do you know what type of Squier it is?
 2.
Please can the people wanting items say how much they have to spend?
You are on a mission sir, sign me up.
 3.
Hey Wayne, check ou this beaut too in Mansons guitar shop - a cool £2.5k though http://www.mansons.co.uk/shopping/categori...ic-custom-shop/
Hate you Clarky
 4.
I have made it heavier, as I sold on the Samson conditioner about 6 months ago and downsized to a compact 3u rack. But the weight is negligible to me. You carry it for 30 seconds to the car, and 30 seconds into the venue. Same with all gear. While I'm young and fit at least. Like people who complain about heavy basses. Man up ;p
My Ampeg head weighs 45lbs on its own with out the leads, rack tuner and rack itself. it's a hefty c***.
 5.
you did a great job of refinishing that orange precision and that yellow squier...
Haha, lets not forgot the Stingray copy and the white P I'd rather get one ready made but if I need to I will do a re-fin. The only one I can find is this, if only I had the cash.
 6. Anyway, can anyone recomend a Jazz in those colours?
 7.
Yep think so.
Ah I want a Jazz in Sonic blue or Daphnie blue.
 8.
Only the James Johnstone version I think
That's Lake Placid Blue, isn't it?
 9. Yo yo yo A quick one here, can you get the CV Jazz in any colour other than white? CHEERS
 10.
maybe he should just put the strap over his face. Yessss. He turned up to recording wearing that t shirt when Andy from Fandangle was producing the cd... Sorry. Back to the orange fretless. I hear word that it's gona be sorted soon?
I have the paint and the hardware, although we need to meet up and swap the bridges at some point but once I get home from Cornwall I'll finish it. Should have thought about it on Saturday.

 12.
Just for the record Lockets don't come in Cherry Flavour. Lemsips make me better, Hall soothers just taste nice.
Soothers are nice.

 16.
(and to be fair I've heard people make basses that cost thousands sound like they're made of paper and string.))
My ears are burning.

 18.
tbh i like both incarnations of his sig bass . Also reckon he's a vastly underrated bassist and producer but that's another can of worms...
That's a fact.
 19. Cheers man, I set it up today, sounds lovely just need to learn how to play it. The Jazz won't be done till after Xmas.
 20. I did this too, if you're wondering about the beginning I forgot to turn the bass on, I haven't played it in years so it's a bit sloppy.
 21.
are you wearing a jumper?
A comfy jumper.
