I just said they were over-rated, I think I'll get further by looking at all different styles and enjoying them than being a fanboy. IMO Jaco was a good bass player but nowhere near as good as people make him out to be.

Also even though it's always the same shape it can fit all styles just but the colour and hardware, case in point.

Welcome to the forum Barney, did you get the strap pin sorted on your bass? I have been thinking about getting a sterling since I played yours it felt awesome just need to get the cash together.

Always take a cheap bass to an audition just in case you need to use it as a weapon Good luck buddy.
