1. Wish I had something to trade but alas I don't. I do have a SUB but that's a keeper.
2.
You also seem to have got rid of your D string. Possibly going for a Seasick Steve of the bass world? Or a drop D tuning?
I used to play that bass E gap A gap but it now has a fretless neck with black nylon tapewounds tune standard.
3. I shouldn't have sold the Tech-amp 6X12 I sold to Mr Foxen
4. I use a DTR1000 which for me is a great rack tuner.[ I think we have had so many of these threads, I think the general conclusion is. Good: Korg Boss Planet Waves Peterson (but they are pricey) Bad: Behringer Cheap makes
5. Coming to think of it I might have a black P-bass plate upstairs but it might be modified, I'll have a look later. I'm watching Scream 2 ATM.
6.
Took a chance on ordering a black scratchplate for my Precision from one of the regular eBay dealers, and it was rubbish. Of the 13 screwholes, only one lined up! No problem with getting a refund though. Anyone know any good sources for Precision scratchplates without having to pay Fender prices ?
WD or Axes-r-us.
7. Love the Jazz except for the the pick up covers.
8. Get yourself to the doctors mate, people on here can only give educated guesses, you need professional advice. Hope it's nothing serious buddy.
9.
Brilliant. Like the green....it's the scratchplate I hate great sound tho'
It needs a checkered plate like my Stinkray. Seriously though that is awesome, I took an hour out the other day to learn it, bit weird playing with my fingers but it's sounds awful with a pick.
10.
i have just heard from the guy and it does say Squier by fender on the headstock. Jynxter
It could be a Standard, Classic Vibe, Vintage Modified, Affinity or many other ranges, can you find out what type of Squier it is?
11.
Ok The one i have seen just says squier jazz bass ? jynxter
Have you got a link?
12.
hi There just a quick question are Fender squire jazz basses and squire jazz basses the one and the same ? Jynxter
Squier are Fender's 'cheap' brand but some of them are amazing, the Vintage Modified Jazz bass is one of the best Jazzes I've ever played and you can get those second hand for £160.
13. That is awesome but you now have 2 Sadowsky's you're not allowed to play "Why aren't you playing the one I got you?"
14. I use my Jazz for Punk/Ska, it's f***ing awesome.
15.

You have pretty hands, Sam.
16. I have a Ashdown Perfect 10 Mini-Rig for very small/acoustic gigs Carlsbro Stingray and 1X15" OHM cab for sh*t gigs Ampeg SVT5-Pro, Ashdown 4X10 + 1X15" for all others.
17. If I wasn't brasick I'd take it, gotta be worth at least a ton.
18. Mine was backstage at the Hootnanny in Brixton, I can't explain if Crikey comes on he might be able to.
19. I put an on/off switch on this badboy and got rid of the volume and tone knobs, works a treat.
20.
aha - I was going to guess an svt-4pro! how are you finding the 5pro?
Excellent, use it bi-amped 4X10 full range 1X15 lows, thinking about getting a 1X18 or a 2X15 soon though. It's a brutal amp, the OD channel is a waste on me though.
21.
^^ what amp are you using? you've got me intirgued now! andy
SVT5 Pro.
