I'm not kidding when I say, partnered with my Trace elliot V4 this thing was huge and cut through a marshall valve rig and top-of-the-range mapex pro drum kit!
Should have clarified, if I was running an 8X10 I would want to put my amp into bridged mono but that is 1350W (peak) so this wouldn't be for me.
 2. Doesn't handle enough power for me, looks nice though.
 3.
Hahaha, it would probably go that way. I'll have a look at the Squiers, they're passive aren't they?
Indeed they are but it wouldn't cost much to put a pre-amp in. All I'm saying is they are defiantly worth a try.
 4.
No worries there fella, I was going to talk to her about anyway (at some point)
Would it have gone along the lines of, "I've bought this bass........" Try the Squier versions I had one for ages it was amazing would still be my gigging bass if some c*** hadn't nicked it.
 5. I'm thinking about getting the headstock on my Jazz painted and then a decal put on. Does anyone know where I can get it done and how much it would cost?
 6. FYI I'm playing in Canterbury tonight and I have an Ibanez hardcase that you could borrow.
 7.
Your kitchen is SOOOOO similar to mine... I'll go for 200
I guess you have the advantage of knowing it'll look good in your kitchen.
 8. This is going to be back with me soon after a year of it being out. Looking for a Jazz of some kind really with some cash your way mainly a VMJ but I will consider anything.
 9.
Cheers mate. But thats a bloody long way to go for one track!
It was a prize for winning the Coca Cola BOTB. We would never get in a studio like that otherwise.
 10.
There's holes on the back, for through body stringing? Also the headstock looks like it's had a piece of wood glued over it. Looke like it might have originally been a normal bass, poorly converted to it's current state leaving the through body string anchors redundant? Either way, it's butt ugly and i don't want it!
I was thinking the same thing.
 11.
New Plan alb Wayne? Thats an epic rack.
Nope just one song, couldn't afford to do an album there unfortanatly. Oh I'll have your rack thingy in the post tomorrow.
 12.
I got the predecessor to this amp called the perfect 10 60 minirig. Really nice praccy amp! This new one looks even sleeker!
I also have one, best practice amp I've ever had, this looks amazing but I can't see what it will do that m Perfect 10 MR won't already do.
 13.
Interesting you seem to like RUSH sounds mate Alex Lifeson uses Hughes & Kettner. What make was the kit?
It's wierd how much better it sounds when people play music on it I have no idea about the kit, I have no clue when it comes to drums.
 14.
Ive heard the Landmark heads....really good. I still rate the Sansamp pedals highly, BDDI is perfect for punk and metal. Nice to see a good selection of amps in that photo...and some Orange
The H & K guitar amp sounded amazing, never heard one before but it blews the Marshalls away.
 15.
Alex Claber plays through an Avalon pre (IIRC). You could get yourself a rack set-up with an Avalon, Sansamp and whatever the big blue box of valves was (I'd be intrigued to know what it was - TL Audio?) - but it wouldn't look very punk now, would it! Unless you put police/gaffa tape all over it...
The Avalon pre was amazing The blue one is the one in the the middle of the main wooden rack about 2 from the top.
 16.
Unfortunately it probably won't sound like that live! Si
I know
 17. I'll have to give one a try mate, I may get myself a Sansamp BDDI for Xmas.
 18. Was at Long Wave studio in Cardiff yesterday, the place was amazing. I used my Jazz and it sounded absolutley amazing but unfortanatly if I ever want to acheive it I'm going to but a rck system like the one below Used an Avalon pre amp, a racked Sansamp and a big blue box of valves and just WOW!!!! Also I tried a white 62RI Jazz again below it was nice just not as nice as mine (oh and the whole studio is run by Windows )
 19. I'm on the M4 so can't pm but could a set be sent to where ever the bass chat five string is?
