2.
I might be old fashioned, but even if previously agreed with bands / promoters that backline is okay to borrow, I'll still ask the bassist and make sure I say thanks to them, same with each of our members depending on whats borrowed, simple manners.
Couldn't agree more.
 3.
Well, just to add some balance to this thread full of awesome- ness, here we have the finale from my first ever gig. Many mistakes, much panic, terrible on- stage sound, a very odd playing position and a buzz that lasted for days The second song, at about 5:20, is probably the better of the two..
Last time you'll play there, they have shut it down
 4.
It's a really nice guitar, but I've been asked to play in a band that play in drop B, and I don't want to ruin this by dropping it so low and having to change the bridge pickup to a humbucker. I'd keep it if I hadn't bought so much equipment recently, I might have to finally stick it on ebay soon.
How about a hot rail?
 5. "Price drop due to quick sale being needed, please feel free to offer - any offer considered." Just offered him £175.
 6. I think if you want an interesting colour you should just swap it with my Fender..........
 7. For my 2 pence worth, I don't think I'd ever enjoy music when all the crowd is sitting down. The music was alright if you like that kind of thing but the sax player just seemed to be hitting random notes.
 8. Not a bad gig at The Ivy Leaf in Sheerness just felt so ill, I'm home now and I have a pizza and MOTD good times
 9.
I have been reading reviews and am getting a fair amount of contradiction about different models. Have been investigating Black Windows, Eminence, Celestion and Fane so far. But I'm still baffled frankly. Thanks in advance for any advice Cheers
How would you see out of them? Seriously though I have had Black Widow drivers and they pack a big punch for the money.
 10. I have a Korg DTR1000 I love it but as a back up I have one of these Which is fantastic.
 11.
One other thing - clipping the input won't damage anything. And if you like the sound of it clipping (especially if it's a valve input stage so you can get some nice overdrive) then feel free to let it distort as much as you like! Alex
Good to know, I love the sound of mine but it worries me.
 12.
I wouldn't run it bridged into a 410HE, too much risk of damage IMO. Alex
I think there should be a missile launch style red flap over that socket.
 13.
"I doubt you'll find many vintage guitars or basses in such good condition, grab this while you can." I'm always willing to give the benefit of the doubt but I honestly can't see how it could be a typo.
Vintage could be late 70's.
 14.
Errr yeah about that, i thought you had an SVT 3 Pro God i hope it gives me the ampeg growl!
I was going to say that if 1000+ Watts isn't loud enough are you sure you're not deaf? Hope you enjoy it mate I love mine.
 15.
If you end up buying my SVT I will not be happy.

Yours aint loud enough!
16.
Nobody else smirking a little at "Faithless" asking for advice on gospel music?
Glad it's not just me.
 17.
It was the most amazing gig ive been to for a long time. Was disappointed with the tone from that ampeg 810 though.
Yeah but Vic made you sound really good through the PA, I think my Jazz was incredible last night. Your Stingray sounds so much better than your G&L did.
 18.
Indeed. She has a back catalogue of eight albums and a strong cult following, and some almost top 40 hits, but I think her songwriting and voice has a far wider appeal. We'll be doing some big shows and a significant tour in Janurary/February next year, so hopefully that will help bring the music to more people. There's a bit more about Horse on her website here; http://www.randan.org/ and on her myspace; http://www.myspace.com/horserandan There is some great bass playing on her back catalogue - I'm told that Graham Brierton, the bass player on the first Horse album, was the first to bring slap bass to Glasgow :-) Jennifer
Looks like you're gonna get some stable work out it.
 19.
My fault. I put petrol in the van. Really wish i could have gone, but cheers to wayne for the help fixing the van had a good gig later on... good day in the end anyway.
Seriously mate it's all good. How awesome was that gig last night? every band was on top form, you guy sounded great I hope we kept the level up, always hard to tell when you're on stage.
 20.
I'm glad someone got it. It's been a while since I saw the film, so my wording was slightly off. I need to watch it again.
That and Snatch are my fave films of all time, I've watched them more times than I'd like to admit.
 21.
Great shame dude was a great day if you still want that graphics card pm me your addy and I'll post it.
Cheers mate, it really sucks I was quite looking forward to it but couldn't risk being stuck at the side of the M25, just not worth the risk. Made up for it a bit last night with a barn-storming gig.
 22. I used to have one of these, best guitar amp I've ever had, good luck buddy.
