1. I'm still unsure as to which I like better, the Jazz is easier to play. They both sound earth moving through my rig though.

 3.
when this is finished this might be my dream bass
Cheers mate, change of plan with the neck, I now have the one from this bass going on it. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=55066
 4.
Cheers fella, the Stingray sounds wider. Saying that that Jazz sound cracking. Thanks for doing that.
No probs, excuss my poor playing though.
 5.
i have a green Snuff Vespa T-shirt! Though i have honestly never heard their material before! Any ideas on what i should start on? I am really trying to find other bands and covers i could do. Looking at alot of Millencolin which is probably the only other punkish band i am a fan of. I will struggle alot with Ska influences though, no way am i doing vocals and a ska line!
One of my bands do a cover of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrfzjZA-hqI easy as f*** to play a great song and a great 80's TV reference. This is my Fave version because I was there http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaHqtt8mlvo
 6.
Thats awesome thanks. I have alas never managed to find the time or place to see NOFX, i'll have to do it before they hang up their boots. I may have been more punk then i am now if the records were cheaper. Problem with releasing it through their own label, harder to charge a lower price for the records. I honestly dont know how Mike can play the very fast songs and sing at the same time. A big fat drunken machine.
I've seen them play countless time it's amazing everytime, it was great seeing them this year because they were with Snuff and the reason I got into Punk was a tape given to my dad that he didn't want with NOFX on one side and Snuff on the other.
 7.
haha, i would rather get a beat up P bass with stickers all over it like in the "Stickin in MY Eye" video! Thanks for the compliment, was that going for the vocal as well or are you politely ignoring it ;-) All His Suits are Torn, was THE FIRST rock style song that i ever liked. I was more into electronica way back when, but i used to skate alot as well. I bought this game. http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/160/160789p1.html Which had All His Suits are Torn, and the rest is history! It is also pretty easy to play basswise and vocally. I dont think i got the rythym in the song right. Its very plectrum centric. But i'll keep working on it! Cheers dude. Rob.
The vocals were good TBH. I wouldn't worry too much about the rythym Fat Mike doesn't keep a constant rythym live anyway just make sure you get the changes right and it'll sound great. BTW I saw NOFX do The Decline in full last year and f*** me is that man a great bass player.
 8. Excellently played, I have played this live before and I didn't play it well as you did. You need to get a Danelectro Just out of interest why All His Suits are Torn? I've never thought SLATFATS is there best.
 9.
Those white pickup covers are HORRIBLE.
+ 100000
 10.
Should do. The only thing that matters on those pedals is whether the ring or the core (non technical terms) of the jack is positive/negative. In the worst instance it will default to 'on' rather than 'off' and the LED's will be the opposite to normal, but it should still work. Think I ended up taking my amp to the store just to check it. I'll have a root around in the shed over the weekend to see if I can find my marshall pedal. If i can find it you can have it as I don't have the SVT4 these days.
That would be fantastic mate, TBH I think I only need one as I won't use the OD channel.
 11. I'm planning to post for the last time in here tonight, I'm in tone heaven at the moment.
 12.
New Amp Ive had quite a reduction in gear.
How does it sound mate?
 13.
Hi Wayne, (This is based on what I did with my SVT4 btw but I see no reason to assume it would be any different with an SVT5) The Ampeg pedals are ridiculously expensive and operate in the same way as Marshall pedals, which are just as hard wearing, but cost a fraction. If i read your post correctly then you have two input jacks in to the SVT5, so what you are looking for is 2 x 2 pedal latching footswitches. ie. two of these: Nick
Would this do the same job? http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/...-Footswitch/72G Cheers
 14. I hate my band, they don't understand my talent or what I stand for, I usually stand quiet at gig thinking "why the f*** am I with these morons supporting every sh*t band under the sun"
 15.
If this one sells. Should be a 3-Pro
Sweet.
 16. I haven't but after doing a little research the one I need is this. But they want £140 for it.
 17.
No siree. The link is from the auction i bought it from.
Ah I should have read, what are you getting buddy?
 18.
Look for one of these, its latching and non latching. Sorry its a behringer but they are well built and rugged Its an AB200 i think I got mine on ebay or Blu aran
How would that work mate?
 19. I want a footswitch for my SVT 5, it has 2 footswitch inputs one for Mute (on/off)/Octaver (on/off) and the other for Combine (On/off)/Channel Select (Clean/OD). Do I need 2 2 button switches or one 4 button switch? I'm confused :S
 20. These ones should be a bit better, I really need to spend time working out how to use the recording doo da.
 21. With a title like Sex on Fire you would expect something a bit more exciting, faster, louder not a limp-wristed SLOW depressing affair.
 22.
Is this really neccessary Wayne?
I'm gonna take down Joe and Ollie
 23.
yeah but i could name 50 songs better than that one. but it's all subjective i guess.
I can do better than that, I'd say any song in the world apart from anything by Radiohead.
