1. I'm going to buy a Thunder at some point just to see what the fuss is about.
2. I just meant as a philosophy in general, I thought it summed up bands really well.
3. A talent boost would be awesome too.
4.
It's not how 'good' you are, but how well you fit in.
Fantastically put sir.
5.
Just change that pickguard!
Checked one on order with WD.
6.
Those stickers look good on the 15. I'll try to get your yamaha back to you this weekend and you can whack some pics of that up... i know how proud you are of it.
I wonder why you like those stickers...... Ah yes the Yammy it is awesome need to refin it soon, I was going to come down tomorrow night, Sam was up for it until I said BCC were playing. Oh more stuff added ^^^
7. I would be pissed, we sometimes play without our guitarist but we don't replace him.
8. I started on one of these, great little bass.
9. I'm not going to fool myself, I can't afford it and I don't really need it. I will get one though. one day. Good luck with the sale mate, cracking bass.
10. I have posted this before. I tried a SUB in Denmark street a few weeks back, the guy wanted £800 for it, I bought one on here in better conditon with a hardcase for £380.
11. I have been refinishing the flight case that Big J gave me, the ends are done, the main body still needs another coat. I think it looks awesome.
12.
Three separate rigs and eight basses - Mrs PunkDude must REALLY love you
Haha or she's worked out that when I get new kit she doesn't see me for a few days.
13.
And there i was wondering where the 'B' rig was, then i realized its to do with the amp names Good stuff Wayne. That ampeg is still *droool*
Haha, there is a 'B' rig but I haven't taken pics yet, there is also a 'P' for practice rig.
14.
My band rehearse at 10am some Saturdays, it means me leavng home at 8.30, we're usually finished by 5pm, which is nice as it gives me the evening to do normal-people stuff if we're not gigging.
7 hour practice
15.
Very assertive tone isn't it!? It was a bit too powerful for my liking when i gigged it. Were those strings i sent new or used? They were in the case so i assumed they were used ones, if they were new then bonus! I also want a Phil Jones Briefcase!
They are used but boil-able The tone is great I can get the tone I love from my Jazz but with a bit of attack on top which is fantastic. Not as easy to play as the Jazz (my P bass also has a Jazz profile neck) but worth the extra work.
16. Am I the only one who thinks it looks utterly hideous?
17. If you're going to go the VMJ f/l there is virtually new one here for a great price (not mine)
18.
I also now want: A tiny bass cab to go with my newly stripped down Superfly head, even though i have a really good bedroom amp already
Haha, I'm putting one of these together this week, I have a mini Mag 15" and I have a Superfly en-route, for gigs where the epic Ampeg isn't needed. Oh I used the MM at a gig for the first time yesterday, AWESOME
19. I sold my Mark 3 to a Polish truck driver for £45, great amp but wasn't powerful enough for me.
