2.
There is something exciting about going to a gig and seeing big stacks and hearing huge sounds coming from the stage. I saw Loop once and that was a blast to another dimension, lots of speakerage and lots of wholesome volume. Mr Foxen are you playing anywhere near me in the future? (Liverpool) Enormous volume and power cleanses the soul of dirt.
f*** YEAH!!! Just bought another head I should have kept that 6 X 12 but then I wouldn't have a Stingray SOMEONE GIVE ME MORE MONEY!!!!
A PS3 grill? at last they are good for something I want a Mesa 400+ can't afford one, that has nothing to do with cabs. Toodles.
 5.
If you want a cheap first step, I'd start with Quarter Pounders, and see if you like them. Dark Stars are a very expensive experiment!
I also have QP's.
Make sure you get the agreement to have orginal manufacturer's glass fitted by the replacement people. they will try to stuff you with "just as good" after market stuff if you don't get the insurance co's agreement beforehand.
True story, I used to work for RAC Auto Windscreens.

 14.
Bought a book second hand the other day, The Fender Bass-An illustrated history by Hal/Leonard. Great book, tells you about all the Fender basses. It stops at 2001 but as I said got it second hand so possibly there has been an updated version. Really good book with plenty of great pics. GiveS you a bad case of GAS. Jez
I have that book, if you want to borrow it let me know and I'll send it up.
 15.
Some of them are pretty ard. Like 50 cent was apparently shot 9 times in one night and survived. Ouch.
That's not hard that's lucky. Unfortunate if you ask me.
 16.
EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY POUNDS? Was it entirely gold-plated? Encrusted with diamonds? Refinished by Banksy? Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity verifying that it had passed through a time warp and been taken on board the Apollo missions? I mean, I love my SUB, but that's silly, silly money.
I just bought one in better condition with hardcase for £380, ridiculous
 17. I tried out a MM S.U.B in Denmark street (I know) last week the salesman was very polite he let me set the EQ, it was a nice bass had a few dings and the scratchplate was lifting a bit so I thought "I could get a deal here" so I ask him the price, "that one is £850" and so I walked.
