1.
Damn it man You said that about a minute after I paid for the other one! £140 including delivery.
Sorry mate, the tone you'll get out of the Ashdown will be great, I would never part with mine.
 2. IIRC they made the Squiers with J pick ups to cut down costs,
 3. I see these a lot when gigging and they can push a lot of air and have much more tonal variety. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=24635
 4.
Alright, thanks for your help. I think I'll go for it. Replacing my Stagg 20BA So anything is an improvement!
Hell yeah, what is your budget?
 5.
Cheers Wayne I only ask because the ad says this
Hmmm interesting I have never use that socket so I wouldn't know if it doubles up.
 6. Nope just a headphones. A bass amp should be 3 times the power of the guitar amps on stage (I think)
 7.
The other amps are 50W and 60W. Plus we use stage monitors Also, RE: my other question, is there a Line Output on the amp?
i'll go have a look.
 8.
No DI output, hmm. Am I right in thinking DI could (in theory) be taken from the headphones? It should be alright, just needs to be turned down mixer end Or split the signal with a stomp box and take the DI with that?
A DI box would be best it's just a question of whether the amp would loud enough to monitor yourself over the band.
 9.
Ok, thanks for the quick response! It would mainly be for practice/studio work so the volume won't be a problem When taken live it'll be DIed into a pa system so should it be alright? P.S. £85! second hand?
Yeah second hand. It sounds great at low volumes but doesn't have a DI output. I wouldn't risk gigging it at full volume, what type of band are you in?
 10.
Well i offered this freebee last April! Can't believe it is still here, Having been given a number of free parts for my Precision project, i think its time for me to help someone out there too! I have a spare 4U Aluminium flight case (Free to a good home!) It has been well gigged but does the job well? Needs a handle & a few rivetts on one or two of the corners! A big thanks again to those B/C Members!! Collection from Ellesmere Port or Wrexham! Justin.
Could I get this picked up? I don't think my one can handle the wieght of my new amp.
 11.
I'm looking at replacing my current (rather small) bass amp. Has anyone used one of the Ashdown Perfect 10 Bass Stacks? I can get one for £140. I was just wondering if anyone has used one and can tell me whether it's a complete waste of money (If it is )
I paid £85 for mine it's a awesome practice amp but if you look here the general consensus is that it's not gigable.
 12.
Ain't that the truth.......people who are completely unable to tune a guitar or bass seem to play the loudest and longest. Excruciating.
Haha I tried out Stingray the other day and I tried to tune the G to no avail so I just didn't play the G.
 13. Isn't it this one? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=53426
 14. You could get a GP7 Trace and a 4X10 for that price and that would do you right.
 15.
Mine are Ben Sherman. And I hope you have the matching strap???
I went one better
 16.
You haven't seen my shoes then....
I have those in Fender
 17. I saw that and thought the same. I use high capacity speaker cables with jack end and never had a problem.
 18. Usually play Jouney to the End of East Bay - Rancid. Nothing makes me cringe more than hearing someone play slap.
 19. I have a gig next Saturday in a local pub, it's a childrens charity thing so we have decided to go acoustic and I think my SVT might be overkill. Would my Perfect Ten mini rig be able to handle it?
 20. Damn she looks dirty not great looking but I bet she would let you do anything. Erm......
 21. Could I get a pic of the front of the headstock?
 22.
Sales probably declined after this was released... The Avril Lavigne signature guitar. Ruined checks for everyone (unless you happen to like the little missy).
I hate that guitar, it was my sig before hers. Bitch. Stll if she wants to sleep with me for the rights I'l take it.
