1. I'd imagine my rig weighs around that but obviously it's not a Behringer so it's worth taking to a gig.
 2. Played my first gig with a 4 x 10 AND a 1 X 15 and f**k me did the 15 make a difference my tone was clear yet trouser flapping, I'm very happy with my set up at the moment The gig itself was a lot a fun, we played to 7 people plus the bands but it was a good atmosphere, the first band was a 7 piece Ska band scaled down to an acoustic guitar and a sax, now they haven't played for 2 years and kept on forgetting songs halfway through, it was very, very funny. The second band were called The Submission they were very Rancidy they were incredible, they had a 17 year old girl on bass and she was a cut above, hugely talented. Then we played and we had a lot of fun, not sure how good we are but who cares.
 3. Do what you have to do guys as long as everybody is happy. If I can have the next address it's at PM'd to me then I can send some new strings up.
 4.
The DTR1000 has red leds the DTR2000 has the blue, I think
Damn it I just thought it was mine I was going to swap + cash his way.
 5. This is exactly what I'm looking for but I won't have the cash for a few months.
 6.
People pay a premium for a variety of reasons in my experience. Some prefer the original state no matter what - I loathe beaten up guitars. Other values include the increasing rarity (and hence the rising prices) the feel, the tone, the playability, genuinely vintage pups and tone circuitry and so on. For me the tone and playability always count highest - but I wouldn't be seen dead with a scabby looking bass. There's a '69 Jazz in at Moon's just now to be restored. To be honest - to suggest this mans artistry is a refinish makes a mockery of the work he does. Some share my opinion - others very clearly don't. Nae bother.
Sir that is the only sunburst bass I have ever liked the looked of ( in fact I'm refinishing mine one by one) so I hope you get a good price for it.
 7.
We are lookin for a dedicated Bass Player into mainstream rock pop as a member of the band, sharing income from showcases with other 4. Please send your links with previous works and a pic
Sounds like effort, can I just sleep with someone?
 8.
Will an Ampeg still sound great through my MAG cabs?
Should do, my Ampeg sounds fantastic through my ABM 4x10 and MAG 1x15.
 9.
It's about £30 more than I usually leave a gig with
+1
 10. Good call guys, may well make an OD pedal first. Any recommendations?

 13.
Wayne? You said you were gonna buy something nice next, how about this? Can imagine it with a chequerboard scratchplate.
I have looked at this and it would be awesome but I'm planning a red US P-bass with maple neck.
 14.
When will you be moving again Wayne to accommodate your latest basses? PS, like the NYC cab style - similar to that Dean semi-acoustic bass we were all admiring on eBay a few months back
Haha, nah I'm gonna buy something REALLY nice next and that'll be it..... I was going to do my SX but I'm far too nervous to do it myself so it is booked in to be done by a pro on 3rd June.
 15. This will be finished tomorrow but I got a pic when I put the neck on. I got this from BaseJase a few weeks back for free because he is a wicked cool guy. Took me ages to decide the colour, I even painted it blue once but thought there isn't enough yellow basses in the world. Used to look like this Now
 16. Which way do I turn the truss rod to make the headstock go backwards?
 17. We need something cheap to put into lifts *runs*
