1. I may be panned for saying this but what they should do in my opinion is take Total Guitar (if it still exists) put it on the table in front of them and do exactly the same thing with bass.
2. Don't listen to them, cream pick up covers are the devils work, next they will be telling you to get a tort scratch plate. Awesome looking bass though mate.

9.
exactly. i mean, really, which of these seems more likely: 1) cute and attractive member of audience comes up to you after gig, says "wow, i really like your bass. it just has such an incredible midrange presence, combined with a fantastic warmth and depth that really just stands out in the mix -- and i particularly like the way your amp handled the transients of your playing." --or-- 2) cute and attractive member of audience comes up to you after gig, says "wow, i really like your bass. it's pretty. can i touch it?" not that 1) couldn't happen, of course....
Cute and attractive members of the audience always want to touch my instrument after the gig
10.
Bo****ks!!........missed this. Wayne, if it's no good for you, just let me know & i'll have it (there'll even be a little profit in for you! ) Cheers, Karl
No worries, if it doesn't fit it's yours for £15.
11.
Paul may correct me but the body (alder I think) and neck are new generic P-bass parts from China. The bridge is similar to a Gotoh and is a heavy-mass after-market piece. None of these are from 'name' suppliers (eg Allparts etc)
I might have to come and take a look this. PM'd

14. I hate you so much Clarky, I wish I could justify this. I have real GAS for both a White P and one of Pauls fine creations.
15. IMO T-birds look horrid but the $$ is the best looking Warwick.
16. I used to play bass for Bloc Party, I used to use a P bass special with a Peavey amp but that was ages ago before they recorded so I'm not much help, toodles.
17. Cheer for the answers guys, I'm happier now. That soundguy was such a cockhead.
18. Maybe as a back up head, I used to have the MK3 amazing little amp.
19. The other night I borrowed a cab from another band, the guy had a 2 X 10 and a 1 X 15 both 4ohms so with my 4ohm head I only used 1 well that's what I thought until after we had played when the soundman said "I plugged the other one in for you, you can use both you know?" I almost hit him, anyway it all sounded fine but would the knob have caused any lasting damage?
20. Can I take it? I'll send money then pick it up when I'm in the area?
21. Sorry to hear about your troubles, I had to sell nearly all my equipment early last year I hope it all picks up for you. Just wondering if postal orders might be a good way to go, they are more secure than cash and all you have to do is take them to the post office to exchange them for reddys and never touch the bank.
22.
a swan?
A left handed swan?
23.
Unfortunately not!
A P-bass?
