3.
No worries man, how'd the crowd react when you were on? Just listening to it now Great punk-tone! This is what BC is all about, meeting great people and having a good time!!
Wasn't too bad, lots of old ladies but they got into it a bit. The last band were a bunch of pretentious pricks but it turns out I knew the drummer from the band we watched before you went so I had a chat with him while they were on. Some guy tried to start trouble over my flyer defaceing which was funy
 4. I was going to buy a Squier Jazz off of someone on here that was on eBay and not moving up from £35, I offered him £65 for it he accepted but just before he pulled it it went up to £50 so he asked if we could put the deal on hold for a bit I agreed, it ended up going for £115 because of last minute bidding.
 5. Cheers matey it was nice of you to come down, was Steve the biggest man in the world guy? Hope you like the CD and as I say when you guys get sorted we will do a gig or 2 with you.
 6. As long you're careful changing the nut should be cheap and easy.

 9.
Thanks, I don't think I'll be taking it apart any time soon, that's asking for trouble! I'm based near Milton Keynes
I'm sure there will be someone around there who can help you or if you don't want the hassle I'll give you a tenner for the lot
 10.
Thanks for the good comments guys, knowing next to nothing about bass guitars even I think they look cool. Forgive my Ignorance but what is a sabre? Is that just a particular make? Thanks
It's the Music Man mate, it is a very nice bass probably not the most expensive bass in that collection but my favorite. Where are you based mate? I'm sure a one of the chaps on here would be happy to come round and give a value on the basses for you.
 11. That is a very high quality collection, the Sabre looks awesome. Does anyone recognise these basses? I just thought of the possibillty that the deceased owner could be a Basschatter? Good luck buddy.
 12.
I hope you 3 fans don't mind me saying that Rippers do absolutely nowt for me. Gibson have always been a huge disappointment for me considering their guitar pedigree.
+1 it's like they spent too much time on guitars then at the end of the day they remembered basses and quickly whipped something up out of left over parts.
 13.
but then the pup is the wrong way round! Plus when I've got my current crop of basses it seems a waste not to use them!
I don't have any basses like any of yours except my Stinkray so I don't think I can help
 14. I was thinking lefty flip it (or righty in your case)
 15.
I gather the carpenters is no longer a gay bar. It was when i lived in canterbury or are you talking about a different kind of jamming.
It certainly wasn't when my Band played there with Assert, it was packed to the rafters with old school Punks, the walls were sweating, great gig,
 16.
Any more dissing Carlsbro and I will do the lot of you.
I'll get the lube.

 18. This might be worth a look. I wouldn't touch Behringer again EVER!!!
 19. Damn I have been trying to track it down, it's of my biggest eBay regrets.
 20. Where did you get this from? I had one identical about 6 years back.
 21.
There are a couple of open mic nights in Canterbury, one at the carpenter's arms and another at orange street music club. Not sure how frequently they happen though.
mate of mine did one at Orange street last night, good call.
