All done , sounds great. The reason the action is really all over the place is that my neck has a curve in the middle so I have a close action at both end but a high action in the middle so I'm going to have to tighten the truss rod, never done it on this bass before I'm bit nervous.

I think they are 4.0mm screws so I'll use a 3.5mm bit. Cheers guys.

This has been defreted with a screwdriver, I'm not to fussed this is a throw together I'll just be happy if it all comes together OK.

I haven't had time to sort the neck out this morning but being a man I got up early and wired the pick ups in and put the machine heads on.

Hi guys I'm doing a fretless project tomorrow see [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=42591&pid=422004&st=0&#entry422004"]here[/url], anyway the neck holes don't line up with the body holes. Do I drill new holes in the neck or sand the pocket until they line up?

I already have a problem, the hole in the body and the neck don't match up. Do I drill new holes in the neck or spend ages sanding the pocket until the line up?
