2.
Our last gig of year (makes 12 in 2009, as per "how many gigs" thread)
Erm it's 2008 mate.
 3. I have a feeling the same thing has happened to me with a newbie can't be 100% sure yet but will soon.
 4.
You should find a G&L L-2500 for that money. Played one, want one.
I tried a G & L loved it, then the guy lent it to me for a gig and it was really hard to play, don't know why.
 5.
You could also try the small claims court now you have an address -- it costs around £30, I think, and you don't need a lawyer. If the case goes in your favour but he still refuses to pay, the court can send round a debt collection agent at his expense. You have PM. Cheers Mark
No you can't you have to pay the court bailiffs to go round and they are useless.
 6.
+1 About as appealing as a ginger stepson..........
OI!!!!
 7.
It is indeed awesome, I am a bit spoilt for guitars at the moment though, it was either this or the PRS to go, but this is mint and the PRS has a few marks.
It's a hard choice, personally I would keep the LP but damn it's a hard choice.
 8. Nice guitar, I have one in my house at the moment and is the best guitar I have ever played.
 9. If you're going to con someone don't go around bragging about what you bought with the money it makes you look like a bigger c*nt than you already did.
 10.
Ibanez ATK 305 or a used Warwick Corvette/Streamer.
+ 1 on the ATK, fabulous bass but I guess it might look too much like a P for you.
 11. Personally I would go for one of these but you might also consider a second hand Sub V. That said I don't understand Metal or pointy things so I might be way off what you're looking for. Edit: I just saw that you don't like P's or Jazzes, I'm sorry it's just not going to work between us:P
 12.
ok, you guys have spoken. 3 yes and 13 no is pretty conclusive i'd say. i was getting pretty bored of them anyway to be honest, i'd actually stopped noticing them
I like them but I'm a bit weird, I like the colour of the bass though.
 13. I'll be there, don't you worry about that. This may stop me having to lug the guitards 4 x 12 out of the basement everytime we have a small gig.
 14.
Well, well, well. At the end of last week ( Friday to be precise ) the price of this package deal ( B2RE head and SVT410HLE cab - I double checked the cab out ) went up to ......£859, thats from £679 remember. The Thomann price for this kit is over £1k, and they are sometimes very cheap. I even enquired locally and the very best price I could get ( almost mates rates ) was £880. Oh and when you click on this offer, it tells you it's no longer available. Just as well I ordered mine on Thursday, expecting delivery anytime soon. S p.s. the S is for Stewart, not Smug, although it's a nice warm feeling to grab a bargain.
Good work buddy you won't regret it, I played without mine on Sunday and I realised how much I love it.
 15. Black from me too but damn man good work.
 16.
Maybe keep an eye out for a second-hand Peavey 115 TNT? Something that's loud enough to gig with, that's near bullet-proof, will be fine for the short-medium term. .
+ 1 not a huge fan of them but I played through one on Sunday and it had a lot more options and volume than others in that bracket.
 17. I've seen a few guitars go in here I'm sure it's fine.
 18. There's Gonna be a Blackout by Dropkick Murphy's
 19.
I personally believe that true socialism is not possible without anarchy, and that all these "socialist" states we've seen are really just authoritarian empires, enforcing a socialist economy upon the people as a way to hide the fact there is no rael freedom. As for using corporate products, well, the's just a sad by-product of a capitalist society. To survive, one must conform at least to some extent. But there are basic survival necessities, luxuries and that grey area inbetween. For instance, I see using an ISP a necessary evil, to remain informed.
Ah to be 15 again.
 20.
Look at Bono. What a c***.
FTW!!!
 21.
Yeah it sounds pretty good loud, doesn't it
Sounded really good I also noticed the difference in wieght between it and my Fender
I got lucky, full Ampeg kit there waiting incl 6x10 cab. Maybe it belonged to one of the other bands?
Must have been their house kit is a JCM900 with 4 X 12, ENGL guitar amp with 2 X 12, Peavey 1 X 15 combo, DW drum kit and some guitars and stuff out the back which I think is really decent.
 22.
Hey Wayne, one weird location innit (the Bridge House II)? Thought a Ford Cortina was going to screech up and sling a body out next to us, like in a Guy Ritchie movie. Also loads of rats running around the yards. Its a nice venue though and the promoter for the monthly Daggers Punk evenings is a great guy (we had a spread of sausage rolls and sarnies made by his Mrs which was delicious). We are playing there again in March (supporting 70s punk classics 999) and I'm really looking forward to it
It does have the gangland feel about it, but yeah brilliant venue would like to play down there again. Did you get told there was a bass cab then turn up to find it was a Peavey 1 x 15 combo?
 23.
Nice rig mate. Is that a 4x10? It looks small. Maybe your rack is big...
Yeah it's a 4 x 10, the rack looks big but it's only 4U.
i love the SX - that is the the one previously owned by OldGit .. It is very nice done bass.
That's the one gigged it for the first time last night sounded awesome (check the 'how was your gig last night?' thread), was it the Bart sticker that gave it away?
